got a call last night, said Hi and to call back. didnt.

Left a three word garbled message that didn't make any sense at all. Didn't speak clearly or slowly so have no idea what message was about - will obviously be ignoring this!

this number rung my landline and it said it was a text message....it said it was from a company called scot sumthing as wasnt clear asking me to ring them back about an account

Received a voicemail saying a Valentine's message had been sent from this number.

I have just received a call from this number twice in 5 minutes, and it hangs up before i get a chance to answer it. Ive tried phoning it back assuming it was someone i knew, but it tells me i have no messages waiting for me :s
Im really confused!!!

I also received a call from this number with a very odd message, which sounded like coming from a distant planet!   I did not call as it seemed really strange.  I think it is a scam.

Received a "text" messge last night on my land line.....message said ....I have got rid of my bed and replaced it with a trampoline and now I hit the ceiling.....then the message said that if i wanted to stop receiving these "text" messages ring this number.....needless to say I didnt ring it

I was alerted to this by all the former contributions so many thanks everyone.  

It was on my callminder asking to be phoned back. The call back did work for me via 141 shield. It gave an intelligible message - asking me to call another number and giving (away?) a postcode in the background. The second number turned out to be a debt collecting agency nothing whatever to do with me!  So although the BT / TMobile bit is working OK at the moment, it's now being abused by bloodsucking bugs and slugs who could confuse and frighten vulnerable elderly people into paying money they don't owe.

BT nuisance calls are still saying it's either opt out of all texts into the landline or get them all. Like some previous "posters", someone important could well be texting me so I won't be opting out for the time being. I have a sick elderly relative as well so I can't risk these time wasters bunging up the callminder. I will be telling all my contacts to text to my mobile only. When they all know, I will opt out. I advise everyone else to do the same.

Got this today on landline - literally just the number being read out by a recorded voice. Random, am deleting it.

Phone rang at 2.46am, and again at 2.50am  First call since I opted out of receiving all text messages on BT line last November. That bit works well, doesn't it?
Tried ringing the 0953  966066 to opt out as suggested, recorded message only, no options at all.

HELP!  I need my sleep!

I received a recorded message on my landline at 8:30pm saying that a parcel had been left by my front door. The message repeated and then gave me the number 07953966066 to ring if I needed to hear the message again. No parcel by the front door and I wasn't expecting a delivery anyway. I thought what a weird message so I googled the number and found my here. Obviously some sort of scam of warped joke. I haven't phoned them by the way.

had 2 x 3 ring calls at 7am from 0750489923
at 8.30am I get 2 text msg to my landline both were blank

I called the text service numbers above and cancelled both

Just received an ansaphone message from a computer generated voice on my landline asking me to call this number - didn't do that, looked it up online and found this forum.  Very annoying scam.  My little girl is handicapped and we have a number of medical professionals leaving messages just to call a mobile number for her various treatments and hospital appointments - I understand from looking online that this is an expensive number to call.  Someone stop this annoying scam please.  Who hosts the number?  Obiviously they are making a nice sum of money from it.

I didn't get a call from this number, I had two charges on my TalkTalk bill that showed the number had been dialled from my landline.  Both calls same day, one minute apart. I never made those calls, didn't even know the number existed.  I live alone so no one else made them from my line.  Told TalkTalk about it but as usual they are not interested.  How can this happen?

I've had two calls from this number in the last two days and these are messages from a friend who has gone walking in the lake district. It is just another way of communication. For goodness sake instead of just hanging up listen to the message someone is trying to send you. My dentist also reminds me of an up coming appointment with this method.

Had three calls from 07953966066 last night - 10.45pm, 1215 am and 1.07am. Extremely annoying to keep being woken up. Eventually unplugged the phone.

My husband had a text from this number yesterday and it started off nice then became very abusive and rude, a lot of which I would not repeat.  It is a good job that it was ourselves and not one of the kids that picked it up
