Sunday 5th Aug 2018 time 5.50 pm.  Answered a call on my landline saying to call some long number  to receive a text message. Woman's voice. Some gabbled noise after, maybe even laughter. Checked caller ID - number was 07953966066. Checked on Internet ....seems to be scam number so didn't follow up.

Same as above; the call went:
'066, just to repeat that number, it's 07953 966066'.
Nothing else, but thankfully I found you before I tried to call the number. How can it be they are still allowed to do this when there have been complaints about this number for 10 years?

I recieved two messages saying to ring back this number 07953966066 on my work landline (digital line). Was suspicious as the female voice sounded automated but was a bit perturbed by the fac that the message quoted my name and said I'd left a message for a particular person who it named and this name was a member of my team! Looked up the number before I did anything and found it was a scam so deleted the messages.

Received a phone call telling me I had a text message from Nat West and asking me to call 07953966066 from my landline. Strongly suspect this is a scam call.

I got a text to landline call this morning claiming to be from Natwest and asking me to visit some garbled URL and to call this number to hear the message again. Needless to say I did neither.

Sunday 7.50am "you have a text message from 07953966066 etc" This on  an ex directory landline!

As Heather (above) says, this appears to be a genuine text-to-landline number.
I thought it was a scam at first, as I let the call be answered by our answer machine. The message came from an electronic voice, with a lot of crackly interference in the background. I couldn't make out much of it at all, apart from something about an 8am start and to return the call by phoning a certain number as soon as possible. This was a mobile number, but different from the number that had sent the message (which I got from 1471). I didn't recognise either number but I've just checked out the number left in the message and it's that of a recruitment company that specialises in temporary work in the field my brother used to work in.
My brother's not here for me to ask but I suspect he did actually register with this agency, but gave them our landline number instead of his mobile, and the automated system they have for sending our messages when work is available didn't 'realise' that we're a landline not a mobile.

Receieved a call and message at early morning at my land line number from 07953966066. When tried to call back from my mobile which says it is a possible fraud or scam number.
It seems that the number is playing for many years.

Unsolicited and unwanted phone calls from this number at 6:30 am. I don't wish to be contacted by this number of associated company.

I called the number and chose to block all future calls, probably a scam.

Got 3 calls from this number today. Has it started again ?

It is 03:25 am and I have received 6 blank text messages from 07953966066 to my landline.

Keeps calling then hangup

Messgae left on my landline, unintelligible.

They called in the morning 1:15am. What does he/she or they want? Who is it? Who are they?

Had a call 10.20 night time a bit late for calls left a message I couldn’t understand find this a nusisancse

Just had a call from this number. Didn't answer it as I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. Left a garbled message on my machine. Definitely didn't ring it back!

Got a recorded message saying that I have a text message and to phone that number but when I did it just clicked off. Do you get charged for 079 numbers?

Just received a text msg to my landline from this number.  The message said, "Weather Permitting"
