Called to say they had left me a text message and to ring this number. Said who they were but was difficult to understand. Looks like a scam.

As soon as it said text message, I slammed the phone down. I have call protect so I have blacklisted this number, and if they ring again they will get my false answerphone, set up by BT. Lovely is it not, every time they ring will cost them money, whoopee!

Whoever calls from this number was probably born to a mother who should have had a termination. All they do is reassure me that I can spot a bloodsucking parasite quite easily. I'm not an unkind person, but I could watch these types die in agony.

They somehow managed to leave five automated messages simultaneously.

Just had a call same as above - complete time wasters.

got what sounded like a automated message from this number telling me I had a text message waiting but answer machine deleted the end of the call so I ignored it.

I got the same as all other contributors...BUT THE MESSAGE BEGAN 'HELLO PETER'.  So somehow it had linked my number and name, making it believable.  Never ring or text these numbers.  As I'm writing this I have just received a second call, a clearer and different voice with the same request to ring 07953 966066.

Received a call on my landline. Went to answerphone and it was a message saying I had a text message from this number. The text message was apparently ‘who is this?’
Not helpful when you have a teenager going through a breakup, waiting for someone to call them and you get random calls like this!

Multiple calls from this number purporting to be my ISP about to cut my  Internet connection. Then, bizarrely an SMS message to land line of a romantic nature.

Got a message from this number saying - From EE. It was not possible to deliver your text message to ...

I deleted the ... number above for security purposes in this but was sending a text to someone in my contacts. Is this more than spam or a hack, confused but keeping an eye on it.

Had a text message to the landline advising “just to let you know the battery has been delivered. Love mum and dad”. Can’t believe this number had been harassing people since 2008!!!

Keep getting notification that EE have sent a message but I have not sent it what can I do?

From reading other posts, it seems this is a texting scam that tries to entice you into contacting the sender. Usually, this is either a type of sleezy advertising or out and out scam.  I think it is safe to ignore these texts/calls.
