0701 April 23 2013 Just received call from 07953966066, number required to ring was  07968596922, call to say ring i'm out of credit, just another answer service, how much did this cost me?

got a tex sayining my text had been delivered what text  never sent one to 01792211845 so hpoe imnot charged for it

As far as I can see, you get this call if someone texts (in my case from T-mobile) your home phone number (in this case a BT line). The call will tell you the content of the text and the number of the texter. Although the person who originated the text may well be a joker, the service is provided in good faith. I don't know if this is a BT service or a T-mobile service but it isn't a scam as such.

Asked to call this number, no name left, very suspicious.

I received a text message today 02/05/2013 on my landline from this number and the text made ref to New York.? I stopped the message immediately. I do not know anyone in New York so why are they phoning me.?
I recently gave my mobile number to a UK car dealership and lo and behold, I started to get all sorts of messages and texts from people I had never heard of. I will call the BT 0800 number to get these messages stopped.

I got this message after calling my yodel courier on 01332585918.I had texted the courier after they failed to make the promised delivery and the lied and said they had attempted it.Although was on the driveway washing car at the stated time.

This number called my landline wished my daughter a happy birthday on may 3rd then called me a cxxx , she's 16 ! . I went mad and have tried to contact them but without any luck , Any help please

Got called by this number two days ago -recorded message saying to call them, so they're at it again!

Just received a call. Answered it, and a female voice said "I have a text message for you from (mobile number). The following message was abusive and disgusting but used a nickname my friends and family call me. I wasn't quick enough to get the mobile number but did 1571 and this was the number that rang. Very upsetting.

Received an automated message on my work number which asked me to call back to collect a message.

Hang up and dont call back!

I have started getting calls from these at about 4 am usually with a text message ( last nights was 'I am locked in, where are you').
After the first time I sent them a text the following morning (politely ) asking them to be more careful when dialling a number. After last night`s I rang them, and got a recording saying it was the BT fixed line text service, and to send a text to a 6 digit number to record my name ( I didn't). Ive tried ringing BT but currently getting nowhere.

This number is the number BT relay texts sent to your landline from. I rang BT to find out where these originated from as I`m getting calls in the early hours of the morning and not at my sharpest. The call centre guy in India tried selling me a 'select to reject' service at £4 a month to stop these calls. The issue is I have teenagers who may send a genuine message if their mobile credit is low.
I wish someone would bring out a cordless landline phone, which has the facility my mobile has, where you can allocate a specific ring tone to a calling number, as I have several where I have a silent ringtone so as not to be disturbed each time they call.

Had an answering machine message, it seemed to lose the first part of the message. the message left was "call 07953966066 to stop these messages" with the number repeated. seems like a scam to me so they can whistle for a call back.

had the same number call about 6 times each day over the weekend claims to be T mobile.
As is my own mobile phone.

seems to be from some sort of company that forwards text messages, a friend sent me a txt to mobile but also to landline number by mistake, it was not his number that showed on landline tho but was his message

Three calls this morning, one after the other, asking me to call 07804 424246 - immediately followed by telling me, 'to stop these calls, please call 07953 966066.' I didn't do either - figured it could be a scam and checked online. It is a scam - but very annoying when you work from home.
