    had a call from 07973100194 wanting to speak to my partner (main account holder of our 2 mobiles). I told him he was unavailable and was there a problem with the account. He said yes and asked my name. I only gave him my first name and he said I was authorised to discuss the account, which I hadnt been allowed to do 4 days earlier when they called!
    He asked for my password but as I couldnt remember setting one up with them, I stupidly gave one, got it wrong, was prompted with HOLIDAY as a clue, got it wrong, was told HOTTER then remarkably got it right.
    The caller had all the details of our payments, bills etc and was after setting up a new direct debit that had been cancelled at the bank.
    I told them I would call back Friday to clear the balance and set up the DD. I was given the number 178 to call from the handset which does go through to Orange Customer Services.
    I may have been lucky this time but I didnt think about the info I was giving till it was too late.
    I do however think Orange needs to review its policies on contacting customers in this way.

    i had a phone call of this number this morning, asking me to do a survey.. they asked me for the first letter of my password, so i gave it to them, they said it was incorrect and asked for my dob, postcode and house number.. i no for a fact the password i gave em was right, so i hung up straight away. why should i give them my personal details for a survey?!

    I got 6 bloody phone calls from this number, and they left an answer message, I thought it was my work or something, but then I googled it and it came up with this.
    I wont bother listening to it, they should be careful. Because it could have been an actual emergency, im glad i googled the number.

    It's Orange doing a survey, they say it will be a couple of minutes but I was on for 40 mins with them and no nearern the end of the call. Fortunately my battery died after that. Block the number then they can't even get through

    I had a call from this number (07973100194) and nobody spoke then hung up.  It sounded like kids playing in the background.  Though it mustve been a wrong number.  I am PAYG with Orange.  Then I was at my mothers and she had the same kinda call from a withheld number. How strange!

    if this was genuinley orange they would use their customer services centre number! i bleive ths number to be scams! AVOID! if you can add this number to your reject list!!!

    I sent an email to orange with a query, a few minutes later this number phoned me. I picked up, but they immediately hung up on me, quite strange. I just hope they don't start phoning me all the time like a lot of these posts say they do :/

    It is Orange customer service, they rang me back after I emailed them,  Great service to be honest.  I was complaining about a telemarketing company (Lifestyle) who kept calling me about PPi claims, and wanted to know if they could block the number.  She couldn't but she rang them and had my name taken off their list immediately.  She then blocked the naughty texts that had been coming to my children's phones.  Brilliant service, I was thinking of leaving Orange, but given I could never get Vodafone on the phone let alone to do anything, I was well impressed.

    I'm getting sick of Orange phoning me on this number as well.

    From now on everytime the autodialer rings me I am going to ring their sales team twice from a landline on 08000790420 and either hang up or if I've got time on my hands maybe waste 15 minutes of their time by asking stupid question. It would be great if everybody did this to tie up their phone system - they might review their policy of ringing me up a couple of times a week just to hang up.

    Yeah same askin me dumb questions about my broadband service dont even bother pickin this one up these people actually said they were calling from T-mobile when i questioned it because it is a mobile number they hung up. WTF are they askin me about broadband for? does it look like i want to talk to Tmobile about broadband?

    P.S Orange and T-mobile have joined forces so that's why we are receiving these BS calls orange are too ashamed to identify themselves.

    I'm glad I didn't give my information when they rang me today. They sounded upset when I told them I wouldn't and I will ring them back. They said call back on the same number because it's very important and about collections..... which is impossible.
    So I rang back and it was an answer phone message saying someone will ring me. It's defiantly something very fishy! I don't trust it!

    ...actually it's happening to me all the time as well, since when I've received a message from Tmobile asking if i was agreeto use orange signal if tmobile's one fails
    i subscribed to it, and from the very first day I've started to receive calls from that number
    I called them back a couple of time, and there is an authomatic voice that says it is orange and that they will call back...........

    Yeah, this is Orange. They called me about a failed credit check which had been repeated and subsequently passed. They corrected me on my password too.

    They only gave information that Orange would know and asked me to ring a confirmed Orange sales number to sort out payment and delivery of my phone.

    Still very peculiar to receive a call from a mobile number.
