Similar thing last night, but the name was Rachel Bowman <rachel1975bowman@gmail.com>. Wants £170 for a guitar. I copied the description into google and it was ripped straight from an ebay ad, original ad way down south. This person says they are in Lincolnshire.

Picture of a family, works at Vauxhall.

Luckily I smelled a rat before committing to anything, but I almost wavered as the email sent to me sounded quite genuine except for her not actually mentioning what was being sold.

"Reasonable price and accurate description, it's worth the money, no bad surprises. I won't go any lower.
Can be reached on -0759-353-6717- low signal strength area :( but check emails regularly."

Having spent a great deal of time telling folk my friends weren't mugged in!adrid and refusing millions from Nigeria I've just got caught out on this one. Yamaha keyboard DGX630 at £130.  Lots of personal email exchanges even offering to deliver it or me to collect but I fell for buying a UKASh voucher using a very convincing scam involving ParcelForce. I received very "authentic" messages from parcel force with Preliminary tracking numbers, parcel force address, VAT number - the lot - and fell for emailing the UKASH number which was purportedly being held until the good were delivered by the parcelforcedriver.

I checked out her (fictitious) google plus and fell for the deal though "she" even refused taking a BACS transfer or Paypal.

Have filed full police report but guess my deal together a keyboard to practice on as I've started playing the organ at the local church was a complete fiasco.

Thank you so much for posting this on here, I responded to an ad for a shabby generator at £100, pretty reasonable and realistic. thought I'd google her number before parting ways with my money, and this is what I see, also goes under the name Martha?

Almost got took in be "Rachel" selling a cooker in Liverpool on vivastreet. Ad seemed genuine, and replies seemed genuine till she asked for name, address, contact details for a "free" delivery through her work. Smelt a rat, googled everything and found this.

    Big fat scam. Luckily avoided.

I really don't understand how they're getting away with it either.  They're clever enough to use a Gmail account to hide the IP address.  But with all these UKash codes surely they "rachelbowman" are checking them in or using them somewhere.  Just really annoyed,  had a family member scammed recently

The [***] is still rachel bowman on viva street, as of last week, brown leather couch. I smelled a rat when I got voucher, I thought now why does someone want photo of a barcode, it's like photo ing your bank statement.  I was so close. This person is Proberbly a group of people not in the u.k. Proberbly not even a woman. Dont understand why codes can't be traced by ukash, it must be linked to an account somewhere. If not this will run and run. And there will be many 'buyers' for each item ' she scams' and  Proberbly 90 percent don't complain,  just put it down to experience. So sick.
