looks like the same gumtree scammer, i done a google search for "do parcelforce accept cash" and came up with this site luckily. it didnt get to the stage where they asked for ukash or paypoint info, the scanned voucher but it no doubt would have.

first i got a text message when i replied to the ad (below) as you can see there is no reply address in the text/email.

then i sent them an email saying i want to pay via paypal and had a number of questions, below is what i got back:

so i emailed back and got the following response:

Unfortunately I've just got called into the office (i get sent countrywide with less than 24hrs notice) so very busy till next week. Back at work we have some shipments for large items with parcelforce all week long. Just thought it would save you time and hassle if I'll send it along with them free of charge :) company benefits :) .

I asked around and it seems you can pay cash upon delivery/inspection. It's quite simple since they're able to wait for you to check it out, if not as described they can just void the shipment with no extra charge.

If that's alright with you I'll need a name, address, contact number and also date&time suitable for the delivery.
Working long hours so If you want to pop in and pick it up you'll have to wait till next week or so when hopefully I'll get my head around :)

I have just been scammed by this person, i wish i had found this site before what a fool i have been.

Just enquired about a treadmill on gumtree and got a text from Teresa.s.ip last night.

It looked odd as the number didn't come up (turns out is was a text send via the internet). She wants me to email her gmail. Good thing i've seen the above posts as it all looks like a scam.. will avoid.

Tried to buy a nail gun from Teresa £60 bargain so I thought---.Saved by the bell collected a paypoint ukash voucher but noticed it said do not ever Email the voucher details.Quick search of Ukash website showed that parcelforce not on their list??? Quick consultation with my daughter who googled Teresa---- and here I am. So close to parting with my money---as someone says if it is too good to be true it probably is!!! Just love to know how the individual can be brought to justice.

Thought I'd Google the number and came to this site when she wrote 'reasonable price' when anyone with such a quality product should know is worth much more

Person under the name Amanda - email amanda75wilder@gmail.com, and using the above phone number is advertising a Roland TD6 on Gumtree for £300 - glad I got suspicious and did some research before handing over any cash!

Beware of Amanda Wilder. I received this from her after enquiring about a Fender '62 reissue Jazz Bass.... The email appears to be identical to others in the thread below....

I've got the same email about an hour ago, it didn't seem right so I did a search for the telephone number and found this site. Using the name Amanda Wilder for me too. Scamming bunch of "£&$%

I got the same message, same emails and same name "Amanda Wilder" when I enquired about a chest of drawers and a wardrobe £50.There is the google plus thing in the end of her last email as well. I was almost convinced with all the photos and information on her google plus profile. Can't believe, a scam again?!

Just dodged a scam that would have cost me £150 for a Samsung TV.
Luckily I can't track these people, cause I don't take kindly to people trying to take the mickey!

Looks like this scam is still rife on Gumtree! He/she is still using the 'Amanda Wilder' name. It was almost credible (at least while my desire for the advertised item was clouding my judgement) until I got the supposed 'Parcelforce' email with instructions telling me to get a Paypoint Voucher and reply to the email with a scan or photo of it. Yeah, right!!

Theres an ad on gumtree today advertising a corner sofa for 80 pounds in norwich,same person same scam,this really needs to be sorted and so does he'/she

Thankfully my suspicions have taken me to this site and i have just avoided becoming another victim of AMANDA WILDER- BEWARE- STAY AWAY. Morons.
