Go back to where you bought the UKASH voucher and ask for  the number for UKASH and phone them up and explain the situation, I had the same scam don on me today, they will refund you if the voucher hasnt been used.

I have just been on Gumtree and found a piece of furniture that i wanted to buy.  I did email saying I would collect (near York) just recieved a message saying to reply to LISA75AUSTIN at GMAIL.COM.  I don't even know why i googled it.  Thank goodness I did, I wanted to collect it today and give cash. Will report to Gumtree.

I just did the same, I replies to an advert for a cooker, 10 minutes later I got a text from Lisa..s.iph (no number) saying for more info email her on lisa75austin@gmail.com.   If you have Skype and search either lisa..s.iph or lisa75austin@gmail.com you get the contact detail for Lisa Austin... Try calling her on Skype, see if they answer.....

it got me tooo. yday on gumtree on a roland hd-1 electric drumkit for 190...

i ended up payinh the money and realised soon after that i made a massive mistake. so gutted
i hope and pray this doesnt happen to anyone else and this person will get caught.

Lisa75Austin is currently 'selling' an expensive fishing pole on Gumtree at a bargain price........beware!

sofa advertised on gumtree, arranged for courier to deliver it as a "perk of the job"  nice emails received, said delivery drivers dont accept cash so stupidly i sent £150 by UKASH, received no sofa, got rid of my old sofa so now sitting on the floor out of pocket.  so so so angry and upset and also annoyed that i fell for it.  Reported to gumtree and action fraud.  If this person is so well known - how do they get away with it

Lisa75Austin has sent me an email saying that she will be happy and deliver the fishing pole (for cash) because she has been at her moms for a few days and would welcome a trip out! (I texted her out of morbid curiosity to see how she develops the scam)
Any ideas what the best course of action is to get her caught at this stage?

So sorry mate, its really unbeleivable that we trust people and they take advantage of us. I was up for a £80 sofa and kept receiving convincing mails from the same lisa75austin but I wasnt quite happy with the response coz I was chasing on e-mails but only received her replies after 24hrs. Its the 5th day today I was then curious if its real or not. I started to search on the net with regard to UKASH - googled it and here I saw scam scam scam - My eyes just popped out and I nearly got fooled. It really is annoying that I dont even want to look at gumtree site anymore :(((

Thanks Tasha, im so so gutted, still cant believe it and the fact of how many people they have been doing it to.  I have reported in to Action Fraud, Gumtree and emailed Google/Gmail to advise them that this person is using there email addresses for scams.  Doubt it anything will happen.  Still looking now for somewhere to sit!!! :( :(  My trust has completly gone - wouldnt surprise me if this person is on this website giving the bullsh@t sympathy to people!

i got an email like this before this person told me that they work for a company that uses couriers and as a perk of the job, can send it out for free!!  Think that's why people for fall it, like me :( :(

I was given this number by "Lisa Austin" when purchasing an ipod on gumtree. Needless to say it was a scam. They phone is constantly off.

Reported this to gum tree, the ad is still live... Why are gum tree not all over this it's been going on for a long time and, by looking on the web, a lot of people have lost money.

I got scamed too buying a saxophone. Reported to the police who have just been round to my house taking details and statement, also reported to gumtree. Contacted parcelforce who say they have had hundreds of people with the same complaint. Scam must be being run from abroad or surely the police and action fraud would have had some luck by now as it seems to have been going on for ages.

It's an orange phone number Iam going to see if it's possible to get this number disconneted and hopefully this will help out a few people who try to call it and when its a dead number maybe realise it's a scam

My intended purchase was a VW Transporter Passenger Seat. Advertised on Gumtree in Guildford for £210.
