I have had this number ring me twice and I do not answer numbers like this as could be anyone!

i have had them call me who are they its stupid

they've been calling me for five days now... lucky for me I dont answer numbers I dont know! Where do these people get your number from?!

Ive got a few calls from them today - didnt answer - they left a voicemail the second time but it was only for half a second then cut off.
Im on T-Mobile and have to pay for vm so this could get rather annoying!!!

Thank you at least i know not to waist my time calling these wasters. if they wanted you to call back they'd leave a message butit still bugs me.

not again im fed up of this this its the second time this has happened another number in november & this one now.dont call them back its not a free phone number.if i can complain to anyone to stop this let me know.does the tps work has anyone tried it?

I've had this same problem, they keep calling whilst I'm in lectures!
But today, they left me a brief answerphone message of nothing but what sounded like a call centre in the background.

Saw it was O800 number so ignored it.  Didn't leave a message

They called me and said they were calling on behalf of the 3 network.  Pain as they keep ringing me when I am at work!!!!!

They called me today. I decided to answer. They were trying to sell me O2 payg mobile broadband. I let her do her speil but when it got to taking my details i stopped her. Said i didn't need it as I had wireless. She suggested then I might need it if I was taking my laptop to a friends. I just told her taing a laptop to a friends would seem a bit rude as I was going around to see my friends, not sit on my laptop. That ended that.

08000641087 called my Mum's mobile today, rejected the call

This number called me today and I said to the lady claiming to be from O2 that I can't talk at the moment as I'm busy, she replied "Well you're not doing too badly at the moment" I was so shocked at that response that I snapped "I'm busy" and hung up!!!!!!

I too got a call from this number.  One thing I have done to companies like this in the past is to tell them that you are part of the Telephone Preference Service [TPS]  - http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/- even if you're not - which essentially makes it illegal for them to make unsolicited calls to you.  If they continue to do so, they are breaking the law, and if you threaten to contact the police if you recieve further calls, that usually works.

Also, some phones have a Call Barring / 'Add To Reject List' option, which you can use.

I can't quite describe how utterly fed up I am with this number calling me. I work 9 - 5 like a lot of people and i get at least 6 calls during that time. I am on one of those simplicity contracts that doesnt have an end date as you can cancel it whenever you feel like it and i had some cheeky swine telling me i NEEDED o2 broadband and an upgraded tariff with a 'shiny and fantasic new iphone'for only £55 a month for both! I explained to this git that my phone bill and broadband only came to £30 anyway and she could shove her iphone . . .  still calling me though

This number has called several times, I haven't answered as it's an 0800 nunber but it's really annoying!

I just answered this but no one spoke so I hung up asap....googled this number to see who it was - glad I hung up now!

These are the same company who use the nukmber 02202. o2 themselves won't do anything as my boyfriend's already argued with them. TPS can take up to 40 days to work, and won't neccessarily stop marketing calls.

Who the hell lets companies like this get away with it? When are we going to be left alone and not have our numbers passed on by companies who are meant to keep our private details private?!

I first got called by this number some time last year, ignored it and stored it as 'do not answer' in case they ever rang back. Then I got a call not long after, probably a few days later, from another number - 02890531500 - and ignored that, stored it in as another 'do not answer'. Then about a month ago I started getting the calls from 02202 every day. Now it seems like they're using the other numbers again now they get no response from me.

Watchdog, anyone??

Just called me saying they were working with O2, when asked how they had got my number, said that they bought it (I am not with O2).  When I said I would not discuss with them, continued to ask questions. Had to cut off to get rid.
