I've been rung by this number 3 times. First two I've said you've got the wrong number, third time I was at home playing CoD4 on the russian side, I answered in a russian accent and the person on the other end could just hear gunfire and explosions. Pretty funny reaction.

They claimed to be from O2 every time, I'm on ASDA mobile.

these idiots have been bugging me for ages and I like many others do not tolerate 0800 numbers or private callers..... it's just infuriating when you work nights and need to leave your phone on cos of sick relatives an you get these idiots waking you up!!!

Had this number ring me last night, google it, found this site, and relised it had this two years ago, I also use this web site two years ago so when I phone 02, they didnt know who they are, so the number rang again, they said they was 02, which I said prove it!. Her reply was "I can play the 02 theme tune down the phone to you", lmao. At this time I said wasn't intrested and haven't called till now. Also by the sounds of it they want " offer you a better contract or upgrade" if they was 02 then they would know that I just entered a 24 month contract with a iPhone, so can't get out of it and can't get a "better or upgrade" phone

They rang me at work, but as I was on the landline I just cut them off.  I'm glad I googled the number because I now know never to answer it!

I just put them onto my reject list so they can't get through to me at all lol

Not happy that I am being contacted in this way, especially as I'm in work!!!!

Have just thought of a brilliant response (although it does mean answering your phone!)  - just say " No I don't have a mobile phone" and listen to them implode from trying to work it out :)

This number called me last Thursday 19th claiming to be from O2 Home Broadband. It was offering me the next 3 months free if I renew my O2 Home Broadband contract with them for another 12 months. My current contract doesn't run out until January.

Got called by this number yesterday evening but didn't answer, and so went to look it up online -- glad to see I was right not answering!  It prompted me to add my mobile number to TPS...

Thanks to this site, I always check suspicious phone numbers.
And this one is the same from the bunch of other tricky numbers, which never leave a message on your answering machine and always try to pretend they are smarter than you are, asking your bank details when you finally answer the call.
Never answer it again. As some people say, they are wasters of your valuable time.

I have been called from this same number a couple of times in the past week. The last time I was on the M25 (no doubt stuck in heavy traffic, they hung up before I could answer the call. I guessed it would be someone trying to offer me some kinda phone deal as I am nearing my upgrade date. I called the number when I got home and it was O2. I wish there was some kinda gadget, each time they call they'll get an electric shock, lol. Trust me, they'll never call again (damn, I'm cruel,lol).

I have been called a few times recently by this number and it's so bloody annoying.  I certainly wont be answering it and will be ringing O2 to complain about this.

been called 2 or 3 times a day from this number  for about a week now never answer it after reading comments on here am glad i didn't.

I got a call from this number earlyer it was a man sayin he was from o2 but then he asked me what network i was on which made me abit suspisious then he asked me if i would like to set a direct debt up so i didnt have to go to shop to put credit on i think its abit dodgy

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of days now. I'm guessing it's because my contract will be up in the new year...  Thanks for all the comments on this site - I've now added the number to the reject list in my phone - they'll get connected to my voicemail straight away from now on. Now I know they'll get charged for each call - even if it's peanuts - enough of us doing this will ensure it costs whoever the callers are a fortune... ;)

Had a few missed calls from this number, I'm on 02 and contact isn't up for another 5 months. I work for vodafone and we deal with LBM however I wouldn't touch them, they basically tell a load of lies to sign you up!

I keep getting missed calls from this number, I cannot answer as I have been in class when they ring. Very annoying and am glad I didn't answer!
Will have to call O2 to complain.
