i have had lots of calls from this number before this started to happen i has calls from another odd number which was 02202

Just called, I said hello, they said hello, I said yes, you called me, they said hello again, I said hello back - they then cut the call.  Not sure why they didn't bother to respond to me as I was quite prepared to have a few words with them   :) :)

I have TPS so annoyed that they called.  No point if they want to offer me an upgrade as I upgraded in June.  Mailed them to complain as fed up of this kind of call.

I got a call from this number today on my mobile from someone claiming to be from O2. As my mobile is with O2 I thought it was a genuine call. The caller was very nice but very persistant, and managed to keep me on the phone for a long time, trying to persuade me to change my broadband and phone contract to them. I felt very pressurized as I was in the middle of shopping and kept saying I couldn't commit to anything until I'd had a think about it, but he kept me on the line. I stupidly gave him my address, email address,age and phone number, but declined when he asked for bank details, as I began to suspect that he might not be genuine. Now, after googling the number, I am really worried that they have details about me that could be used for identity fraud. I'm just so glad I didn't give bank details.

They put the phone down on me when I said I was busy. :|

This is O2 and they are marketing 02 services to customers. They just rang me regarding the new O2 phone line deal where O2 take over the line rental from BT giving you a saving. They had my number because I used it to get a discount on my broadband.

Constant calls from this number.  Wasn't sure who was calling, so have not answered the calls.  Then I have now just put the number into google and found links to complaints, etc..

hi i've got the same problam but they ring me and dont say jack sh**t what the hell are they doing with there lifes?

I got a phonecall from them friday - I heard the woman on the other end say hello but there was so much background noise on the line I couldn't make out a word she was saying. The phone cut out just as I was stepping outside to be able to hear more clearly, apparently I should be glad of that!

If that was their office, I feel sorry for all the people working there. Less of a racket at a football ground on match day.

Easy way to combat this scum is a sports whistle blown as hard you can down the phone

I've received 4 calls from this number over the last week - when I answer the line goes dead...

This number calls and there is no one there when you answer. This type of intrusion causes concern to elderly people because they think they are being rung by potential burglars to find out if they are in. Or perhaps they really are burglars!!

yeah this number rang my phone and asked for my brother huh?i said you rang the wrong number and he hung up!

I rang the number and asked for a Michelle.

I did this 8 times got the same woman 5 times and on the last call they said "Can you stop ringing there's no Michelle that works here!" I said "Now you know how I feel!"

I was outside when I heard my mobile beep to tell me I had missed a call - though I didn't hear it ring. I thought I'd come here to see if the number was listed.Thnks to all who have posted, I will not speak to these people!

I believe this is a LBM number that phone on behalf of O2 from what I can see on the internet.  They have been phoning me over the last 2 weeks and when I do answer there is no one on the other side.  Very annoying!!!!  The number is 08000641087

i've been getting phone calls from '08000641087' the past few weeks i finally answerd yesterday and the caller said they were calling from o2 on a reverse charge call. i now have no credit.
