Has anyone had calls with number 00. I've missed all of them and all that appears on my caller display is 00. i tried doing a search on it on this site but they rejected it saying number too short. Anyone know who or what this is?

received two calls from 08000641087, they didnt speak, but put the phone down immediately as i picked it up. i have now registered with TPS so wont have the bother of them again. pity someone hasnt the courtesy to speak.

They are calling me at like 2-5 in the morning everyday!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a missed call from this nomber, i tryed calluing it but my balance was low, and i coudnt call it from my mobile. So mabie the person has stoped?

We have recieved a number of calls from 08000641087 over the past few weeks, it is usually answered by my wife who puts the phone down on them. They claim to be from o2.
Today when the call came my wife passed it over to me and the male caller claimed to be from o2 and said he would have to ask me some security questions from my account such as full number, password etc;
I told him I could not answer any security questions until I was satisfied that he had a valid reason for calling and that he would have to answer a number of security questions from me. He became a little flustered when I asked him for my full mobile number and said he could only give me the last three digits as that was all he was allowed to give. I persisted in this manner and he got very confused when I asked him for a number to ring back on. as this number did not work I ended the call and rang o2 on a number I knew for them, the young lady searched her staff computer for the name Daniel Southwell and could not find the name. Hope this helps others who are getting the nuisance calls

re; my last, Ihave located a freephone number connected to the offending number it is 08000136671 if you call it it will ask you to press 1 to remove your number from their database and will repeat your landline number and apologise on behalf of o2

i have had 3 calls from this number and havent spoke to anyone how rude

DEBT COLLECTORS WANT YOUR POSTCODE I got a call from 08000641087 but I played the game and had a conversation with her but told her I will not give her my personal details unless I check she is genuine, she kept saying "but the thing is.....", she was making excuses telling me I can't ring o2 sales and she wan'ts to do a credit check, I told her there is no point I'm not on the electrol register as I do not vote, knowing this and that I would fail a credit check for not being on the electoral roll she still wanted my details but I said "NO" and she said can I just have your postcode then? haha this is a classic question from debt collectors so beware people. Oh and if you register on electoral register this is how they find you wherever you move. so do not register guys!!

This number just rang me during form time and it has been for the past week. I just wish whoever this is to stop calling me.

Its not o2, its debt collectors trying to find out your current address

Had same situation.
I had a call to my landline and the guy wanted me to give him my mobile number.
I refused.

Fellow rang my business landline said he was from O2 in Belfast.  Had Irish accent.
Wanted to give me a better offer on my mobile - but I refused to give him my mobile number - clearly some kind of scam call

I just got a call from this number. It's a female trying to say something to me which I completely couldn't understand. She hung up before I could ask her to say again. How annoying. How can I find out who called me?

It really meakes me feel safe and sound in life that someone has bothered to phone me as i have no friends.
But imagine my dismay when my phone rings and i dont answer it in time i am left with a silent voicemail.
So i though I had a friend and then i never.
So next time you call my number at least give me chance to answer me phone otherwise

constantly calling twice a day

I am being hounded by this number once a day at the mo, but a few months ago I am sure the same number called me a few times a day. I keep rejecting the call or missing it due to work

I am tempted to call O2 who I am with and tell them to have my number removed or blocked so this other number cannot contact me. It really gets on my nerves!! Luckily I found this website and knew to ignore the call Thanks
