I have it voicemails too their of a random group of people talking amongst themselves it sounds like a call center in the background though I only listen to them as I have free mins so if I where u
don't waste your credit.ps Im guessing it's a scam though

Had calls from this number 5-6 times over last 3 weeks - just told them I was at work and put phone down.  Don't answer at all now.

i have had three calls over the last three days all ataround 3.15 pm ... the first time i didint answer ... the next day i answered but no reply ... there was some background noise but no one spoke then they put it down ... then the third day i answered and again they didnt say anything and put it down after about 40 seconds. just waiting to see if they ring again today but i am not going to answer again.

me to i try to answer it but its always when im in bed or at school

its realy annoying its rang me 7 times and im always busy or at school

Just had this number call my mobile but I didn't answer it. I've only ever given my number to friends and family, never once to a company so I doubt this call was legit.

Received several calls from this number. Have never given number to anyone I don't know. Have tried reporting it to O2. Will wait and see. Definitely seems to be a scam of some description. Won't answer the phone to them, however annoying they become! There must be some way of blocking unwanted calls does anyone know how to do this?

Had them call me today on my mobile number (TPS Registered) though I didn't get through to anybody. According to their automated message if you dial 0800 013 6671 and confirm by pressing 1 then 1 again, they'll take you off of their calling list.

Phoned yesterday - woman's voice - I hung up. Thought it might be one of these call centre
things - double glazing, insurance, whatever. I've had it before - possibly the same number.

This is a company called LBM who are a bunch of nob heads who steal identities and harass people for money. They lack integrity, professionalism and annoy the hell out of a great number of people.

Apparently according to the  LBM website O2 are clients of theirs. It makes you  feel sorry for O2 as they obviously have no idea what the association with LBM is doing to their reputation. Itreally makes you look at O2 in a different way once you know they work with people like these guys. From the many reports online it is apparent they use automated dialling to make ridiculous numbers of calls to people under false pretences, to rip them off. There are many instances on the net of everyone from ex employees to clients expressing their disgust at how these guys operate.

They are apparently responsible for many cases of identity theft and the general consensus online seems to be that they should be considered as one of Britains most disgraceful companies. If they ring you, just start shouting at them , There is nothing they can do. The staff know what they are being asked to do, so are equally to blame. Simply having a job is not a good enough justification for ripping people off.  

What is frustrating is that NO ONE has acted to shut this business of criminals down.Everyone who is called by them should contact watchdog / OFCOM etc and make a complaint. They are an embarrassment to the UK and give quality marketeers a bad name. They will employ anyone. So dont be surprised if you are speaking to someone who is writing your bank details down for his/her own use.

Amazingly they even have internal campaigns where staff are actually tasked with getting peoples bank details. They are also apparently well known for identity fraud!  

What a bunck of w%^%ers.   Avoid, abuse, report and never give your details.

I have received several calls from this number over the past week. Never managed to answer as they called within working hours. Till today when they called me (Saturday) and hanged up on me after I answered and only heard some noises in the background (something like a call centre).
Never gonna answer again after reading all the comments on this site, thanks warnings everyone!

Just had a call from these guys. at work so didn't answer, now know not to bother, thanks everyone, i agree with "A", absolute scum, i ended up in a direct marketing role a few years ago and was their barely a month before i found out what a scummy insustry it really is, cheating, scamming. Horrible trade filled with horrible people

Just had a phone call from a scouse lad from this number. Answered it and put the phone down when he said "you've not yet verified your name to your sim card, do you want to do this now?". If they ring back I'll have a nice conversation with them until they realise they wont be getting anything from me.

I have had this number call me and leave voicemails several times in the last month. But in patches of a couple of days. I can't listen to the voicemails because i only pay for texts. I just ignore it though and they give up for a while :) but then they call again -.- ...

i got 2 calls off this 08000 number no longer than ten minutes ago .. did not answer as i dont answer to numbers in which i do not know.. it may be a contract company not sure whether its just for o2 customers as recent comments have said that they are on a different contract (e.g, virgin contract) .. just in case anyone gets a cal off this number i would not answer as you cant be sure who it is.. make sure you never give details as you have no idea of the callers identity

Hi Guys And Girls.

Let me give you a dirty trick advice to do when they call again::

Go to any sports shop and buy a whistle that has a high pitch...

When you see the number again on your phone, just answer it and speak VERY SLOW .....

Then you start to speak more quiet after four or five seconds.....

Then you start whispering after five seconds and tell them you have a problem with your voice and calls coming in!!!

They are using a headset and will turn up the volume on their side.

Then you whisper even softer and ask if they can can hear you....

If they confirm you just...........

BLOW the whistle as LOUD as you can.......

The frequency will go directly into their ears and they won't be able to call you in the next six to eight months due to ear pain.......

They never phoned me again and CANNOT sue me on ANY grounds due to their annoying calls....
