Keep getting called from this number during office hours!!! Thanks to all for there info on here. Best part is i wont be changing my contract, purely because i'm on pay as you go

Been called by this number aq few times, its a company working on behalf of 02 and other phone companies. The annoying thing is they have let my phone got to answer machine and then dont even leave a message ! costing me to hear them hang up. very annoying.

I got phoned by this number today and I could barely understand what the bloke was saying due to his Indian accent!!

I have had two missed calls from this number, yesterday and now today, they dont even leave a message of what its about, since reading these comments on here i wont bother picking up the calls if they ring again.I am with O2 also.

Called today.  "Calling from O2."  "I don't believe you are.  I believe you are calling from a third party."  (Already knew of this company - missed several of their calls recently.)

When confronted with the direct statement that she was calling from LBM she confirmed but went on to claim that it was on behalf of O2, and stuck to her guns.

After a while I just put her on mute and she just rattled through her questions without any response, and eventually hung up.

following on from my last post, this number called me again to more times so after reading all these coments,and i put this number in my reject list on my phone and if they phone it automatically rejects it. and guess what it works as they called today and got rejected lol

so they can call all they want, they will never get though to me

I've just started getting these calls, and they call me when I am already taking a call. I only gave my number to friends and family, so how do these people get hold of it?

i got a call from this number just now, stating they were calling from O2...funny that when O2 have actually never called me themselves and its always a 3rd party!

they were trying to sell me home broadband and landline because apparently according to them BT are too expensive and taking out a contract with them will half my bills.

told him i was at work and if they would like to email me, i would take a look (knowing full well that o2 have my email address, but a 3rd party rarely does), he said that he couldnt email it as its customer specific, so i said i wasnt interested unless i could see it in print, and suddenly, without him even taking a breath or pausing to speak to a manager, he came out with 'oh my manager says i can email it to you, if i can have your email address'. so i called him a liar, said he hadnt spoken to anyone, and as i couldnt confirm who they were i didnt want to know....and hung up!

i will be contnacting o2 to ask them to never give out my number to a 3rd party again, they must have done it as the caller knew my name!

I have been getting calls from 08000641087 for the past few weeks now, refused to answer any of them. Went on to O2 web site and in my account info, there are two tick boxes at the bottom of the page. Make sure that the bottom box is NOT ticked as this gives permission to O2 to pass on your information to third parties.

I have also registered my mobile number with http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/
to stop unwanted marketing calls.

Fingers crossed that the calls will stop.

I kept getting calls form this number, so I eventually answered it and it was some guy saying I get something like unlimited texts and 300 minutes for £15, then wanted my bank details so I said I didnt have a card on me. He said he'll ring me back Monday, but now I've read this I dont want to take the call !!

I had a call from the above number today at 15.22. I said hello a couple of times and hung up. Unless they are from O2 I don't know how they obtain my number. O2 never ring me, they send text messages when they have updates or offers for my account.

rang me from 08000641087, said he was my O2 provider and was going to help me get more free minutes and texts but didnt know anything about me or my 02 account, got suspicious when he asked for my name and address

never give your card details anyway. the guy who rang me sounded like a thug if thats possible.

Been getting this number calling a least once a day for weeks now. Never answer 08000 numbers so UNLUCKY!!!!!!!!

He desturbed me yesterday he said he is from Irland.

Just wanted to pass on an update, since i've done all the things i wrote about, i haven't received any calls what-so-ever.

LBM are NOT BT, they are a company selling contracts - They are scammers dont let them waste your time,

the 2nd time in the past week, received call to 'mobile' posing as 'O2,
the agent will attempt to offer you a competitive service - then soon will attempt to run through the ID process with you, including your post code and DOB - of which I would not confirm.
When asked, they agreed that they were in fact LDM marketing, operating on behalf of O2.
However...
O2 can not confirm this, and they do not acknowledge this number as representing them.
This then soon turns into a heated discussion, and I soon bring the call to a close.
question: why would O2 be offering a service that competes with 'itself'?
