- SoapsHad a unsolicited call from this number, couldn't hear what was being said and the phone contract is in my son's names but the caller was happy to talk to me and didn't make the connection that I am not a bloke so could not be the contract holder. I was as work so ended the call.

- MazmosaAll started out nice, offering me better broadband and the guy Yasser (scouser) sounded friendly enough. He said he was calling from O2 but now i've found out he is acting on behalf of O2 it makes a bit more sense. It was all going smoothly until he asked for my card details, where I panicked and hung up.
I did have to actually do some work as well, and the phone convo was at least 20 mins so far.
he then called back about 4 times an hour and i finally gave in and said to myself it will be fine, I checked out a lot of the stuff he was on about, package details, prices, and it seemed legit.
he then got back to the card details question and I knew it's ok to give them out as long as you don't give out the 3 digit pin on the reverse.
And guess what HE [***] ASKED FOR THE 3 DIGIT PIN! I said sorry mate, I don't give that kind of info out/ you don't need to know that to set up a direct debit ([***] nose)
he then *passed* me onto his manager Marvin Hughes... hah he then confirmed everything again that Yasser had already said and didn't ask for the 3 digit pin...
So be careful these guys seem legit in that they are working for a real company but could be phishing for *extras* to sell on or some [***].
His opening banter was pure comedy (almost worth the hassle)
Y:Hi there ........ I see you are an O2 customer you have an iPhone
me: yeh
Y: is it one of those 4gig ones, i mean 4Gs they are nice
me: na a 3Gs
Y: amazing i prefer those anyway they are more ADAPTIVE (nooob?)
me: yeh i guess they are...
geez- Caller: apparently O2

I was charged for the call despite not answering it. I have had recorded messages from marketing companies and am very wary about answering these calls. Not happy about being charged for them.- Caller: Unknown

- Caller: o2
- Woking1| 1 replyI got phoned by this number today and I could barely understand what the bloke was saying due to his Indian accent!!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- lisa replies to Woking1I have had two missed calls from this number, yesterday and now today, they dont even leave a message of what its about, since reading these comments on here i wont bother picking up the calls if they ring again.I am with O2 also.
- Cain MosniCalled today. "Calling from O2." "I don't believe you are. I believe you are calling from a third party." (Already knew of this company - missed several of their calls recently.)
When confronted with the direct statement that she was calling from LBM she confirmed but went on to claim that it was on behalf of O2, and stuck to her guns.
After a while I just put her on mute and she just rattled through her questions without any response, and eventually hung up.- Caller: LBM (confirmed by admission)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jezzabellfollowing on from my last post, this number called me again to more times so after reading all these coments, and i put this number in my reject list on my phone and if they phone it automatically rejects it. and guess what it works as they called today and got rejected lol
so they can call all they want, they will never get though to me- Caller: LBM
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MoI've just started getting these calls, and they call me when I am already taking a call. I only gave my number to friends and family, so how do these people get hold of it?
- Meli got a call from this number just now, stating they were calling from O2...funny that when O2 have actually never called me themselves and its always a 3rd party!
they were trying to sell me home broadband and landline because apparently according to them BT are too expensive and taking out a contract with them will half my bills.
told him i was at work and if they would like to email me, i would take a look (knowing full well that o2 have my email address, but a 3rd party rarely does), he said that he couldnt email it as its customer specific, so i said i wasnt interested unless i could see it in print, and suddenly, without him even taking a breath or pausing to speak to a manager, he came out with 'oh my manager says i can email it to you, if i can have your email address'. so i called him a liar, said he hadnt spoken to anyone, and as i couldnt confirm who they were i didnt want to know....and hung up!
i will be contnacting o2 to ask them to never give out my number to a 3rd party again, they must have done it as the caller knew my name!- Call type: Telemarketer
