keep getting calls but there are non on the other side,,its getting very anoying

have got several calls over last few days but not answered, they've never left a message. looking at the posts this is obviously a scam. I am with natwest, barclays and orange - question is who gave the scammers my number?

I got a few calls as well. I didnt anwser to them.
I have an account with Barclays as well but I`m on O2.

These calls originate from a customer call centre of a company called Inkfish.  They are based in Queen Square, Brighton although I suspect they resource their call centre with India based staff via VOIP.

I was called today whilst work and the polite man go through his sales pitch on behalf of Barclays Insurance products. He was trying to sign me up for personal health insurance at £7.50 per month. I had no intention of buying but used the opportunity to find out where he had got my number.

It was claimed that Barclays have provided Inkfish with my personal details including phone number in order to generate new business.  Like many people on here I requested no marketing correspondence or calls which has been ignored.

I would suggest that Barclays have breached the data protection act or the banking code by passing personal data to a third party without lawful authority.

Reporting this to Barclays is pointless. You should report it to the banking ombudsman or financial services authority and cause them some real problems.

Alternatively you could constantly ring the general number for Inkfish  01273 384 444 and ask for the General Manager. Clog their number up and get your own back...

I just got called up while at work on my mobile i didnt answer because im at work but im also with orange and barclays.

Same story, received a number of calls from this number over the last few days. Called the number suggested above and hopefully will be removed from the list.

ive bin gettin calls for the last week through out the day, i dont answer them cus i dont know the number, but im also with orange and barclays and they never leave a message

I just got I call today from this number. I did not pick up but funny enough I am with Barclays and Orange.

I recieved the same call so thought i'd google it and.... what do you know its the same as some of the above, no answer and iv'e also recieved more than 1 call from them in the last 24hours.

they called so many times this week but the phone rang only once so by the time I tried to answer it was too late allready.
I kept the phone close to me and  I have managed to answer, a lady told me her name and said she is from barclays. Now, i can tell you that in the past 3 years I have never got a call from the bank so why would they call me now?
Just told them that they called the wrong person.

I keep getting the same number calling me, no idea of who it is but if it is that important they can leave a message

Just missed a phonecall, 1471 and its this number, I always look on here as to who it is. I'm not with Barclays, and I'm on T Mobile, so have no idea who or why they are calling me. We are also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which doesn't seem to make a difference. We get so many unwanted sales calls, especially since the recession hit, everyone wants your business I suppose???!!.

I have had 6 missed calls from this number
I am also with barclays
but an on a PAYG deal with T-Mobile so that bit doesn't quite make sense.
Its seems likely to be someone trying to sell insurance but they shouldn't have mobile numbers??
