I didn't answer. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I shouldn't be getting marketing calls at all.

I have had 2-3 calls every day for the past week, but refuse to answer.

I too am with Orange, and my bills get paid D/D from Barclays Bank.

One of those companies are passing on information, that's what I think!

Got this call from Barclays i hate anonymous calls, especially marketing ones.

I got this call while asleep and I answered it and then I was too tired for the info so I said just sign me up for it if its free for 2 months and i'll cancel later if I dont want it.

Gave him my f'in details cus I was so damn tired. Then the phone went dead and I crapped myself. So I phone barclays and check my bank stuff and then give them the number and they said its a legit number not going to scam my account.

I'm on O2 so its not just orange.

got a call from the same number. i have to say...i've got used to it, it's not for the first time. i answered these calls few times, always when i already forgot about this number...always barclays offering something. what i do now is i ignore their calls, they usually call few times a day for about a week or two and then give up....yes! :)

I answered call from this number and some man asked to speak to me and then connection was broken.

Marketing Calls from Barclays bank trying to sell you anything and everything. Damn pain in the [***] and I told them to F'off. You can call 0800400100 which is Barclays general enquiries, or phone back, get the number mentioned before 08000831856 and follow instructions. Somewhere when you set up your account you forgot to tick this box :)

This number calls all the time! im not impressed about my bank constantly calling to try and sell me something!

Im on orange and with Barclays, is there some sort of correlation?

I get these calls about 6 times a day, but have never answered them am on orange too

I have just had the same phonecall from this 0800 number (about 14.30), third in two weeks. Answered and had background noise. Phoned back and had the automated message 'on behalf of Barclays' as stated above asking me to call another 0800 number, which I didn't feel comfortable doing, so I called Barclays on 0800 400100, and got transferred eventually to Barclays customer services where I asked that all marketing calls be stopped. Just got to wait and see if that worked...

Had calls from this no everyday for the last week. Never answered them. Funnily enough, dont bank with Barclays and my phone provider is T-Mobile.

I had a call from this number today during the exam at university:/ even though i have account at barclays i don't have mobile in orange but T-mobile. hope it won't ring it again, or i'll go to barclays and ask them

Didn't answer the phone just googled this number and this is what I found!

They called from this number few minutes ago and lady asked is this Mr XXX I said yes and she hang up. Heh cool I must admit :P. Better change my bank ;].
