I have just received a call from this number but there was no one on the other end.  Will not be answering if calls again.

Got two calls in two weeks but they hung up as I answered.

Got a missed call from this number - googled and read this!

Been getting calls from this number for a few days now. Always around about 6pm. Never answered because it didn't feel right getting a call FROM an 0800 number. Today I got a couple through the day. Any idea who it is? I'm with o2 and Barclays.

Got 2 calls from this number about a week apart. I am also a Barclays customer. I didn't answer as I too thought it strange to receive a call from an 0800 number. They didn't leave any voicemail & I think if it was really that important, they would have. Another thing that I thought was strange, when I did last caller on my mobile, it came up with a Brighton number 01273 384548. Will try googling that number now. Could Barclays have sold our numbers onto someone else?

Has called 5 times in the past 3 days. I've never answered as looks suspect. I'm glad others haven't answered and this page exists to put my mind at rest.

I dont pick up when I get these calls but I just got one. I assume it is a company whom has illegally retrieved my data - which for the record is invasion of privacy and against the data protection act: and it is a large computer that automatically dials the number to identify the client and then bombard them with spam: which is harrasment and blackmail.

I'm reporting this to the police immedietaly.

Received 2 calls from this number in the last couple of days, decided to answer the second one but couldn't hear anything, just said hello a couple of times but no one answered me so hung up after 10 seconds. Will check my bill when it arrives to see if I have been charged!

I've received 4 calls from this number in the past 2 days. This is not the first time that they've tried calling, I answered a few weeks ago and the guy said he was from Barclay's selling some sort of add on and that the call was being recorded. I'm not sure what to think.

I received call from that number today in the afternoon but I did not answer as I do not know this number and it seems a bit suspicious for me. Then google it and read this... I'm with orange.

Received call from that number today.Lots of background noise, hung up. lifted receiver voice asked for my daughter told her wrong number seemed suspicious to me.

Geez, I thought these missed calls I keep getting at work could've actually been important.  Glad I googled the number.  I'm with O2 and Barclays.  Damn Barclays, I'm so sick of them....

Had two calls from that number today. As some other people who have posted I have business both with Orange and Barclays.

I got 2 calls today and I would guess around 8-10 in the last week. I never answer it though - pretty sure it's Barclays.

I might pop into a branch soon and tell them to stop with the marketing calls.

i also got ORANGE SIM CARD and a bank account with barclays when i answered it all a could here is a train sound very loud

i got this call about 6 times and its from barclays bank and it was about heath insurance
so don't sorry, there only won to tell you about how they can help ...or not =P

i am with orange and barclays. dont you think someone wants to confirm our bank details? then they could use fake cards to spend our money everywhere. i have changed my bank from lloyds to barclays, i thought it is better, but now i am thinking i have to cancel my barclays account. be careful! 08001218141 called me few times, morning, evening, work days, weekends. i am sick of it. i didnt pick up.

if you phone back using your land line number you will gety a recording of a woman explaining that you were called by barclays (my bank) and not to worry that you will get a call back some other time. thats all
