Virgin Media have got inefficiency off to a fine art. Having been with NTL/Virgin more about 20 years I recently terminated all my services with them because of their appalling customer service.  At the time I mentioned the complaints on this website, under various numbers, and specitically told them not to 'phone me as I would never go back to them  Since then I have had five calls, three of them in two days! First one I explained that I would never go back to them and told them why. Second was an automated survey about my recent dealings with them.  Third was an automated call saying "We really wanted to speak to you, but something has gone wrong. You can 'phone back on ...." Fourth was silent.  Fifth asked why I was leaving them!!

this number is calling me daily - I reject the call each time, if it is someone that really wants to talk to me they will leave a message!!

They have know my name, said that calling from Virgin Media and ask me about security password??? I said, don't remember, so they started ask me about bank details, hung up immediately.

this number keeps calling me which is getting a pain as we are ex directory.

Got a call at 14:55 today from this number. Where did they get my number and who the hell do they think they are.

I have had 2 calls from this number on my mobile 1st one I missed, 2nd one, (just now) asked for my partner but didn't leave a message when I asked if I could take one for him.

The thing is, my contract is being paid by my dad (since I was with them when we got it), and my partner and I are in our own home only with virgin for telly and broadband, the accounts are completely separate.

Something is fishy about this number.

i have had 6 this week and 2 voice mails, having found the forum i have not answered any. one was at 9.30pm. i am with Orange can i get the number barred?

yeah its them Cockeroaches from Virgin Media... [***]... i've reported them to OFCOM...

I agree it's the Scum that is known as Virgin Media... Big Bully Boy tactics... they need taking to task about all the phone harassment... no respect for anyones privacy... I suggest that everyone who is haranged & made to feel anxious by this unscrupulous company to report them to OFCOM..
You get nowhere complaining direct to them... they ignore you and carry on regardless..... Arrogant F uckers...

Rang my mobile, I picked up and they hung up. Definitely seems like a nuisance caller.

I've received this call twice today (Saturday 24th March)
They obviously want me to call back which I will not do.

Had this number call me again, twice this week. First time was just as I was about to leave for work, person wanted me to conferm my password, they said something about rewards (something I may or may not of been interested in) when I asked what they where, the female told me she couldnt tell me unless I confered my password, when I asked to prove they where from VM by asking what my package was, she just hung up.
Second time was today  not too long ago, was at the movies and my phone went off, signal got cut off, when I looked at the time...it was 20:50....I have done outbound calling befor and I know not to call at this time.

Just had a call, noone speaks on the other end...I just hang up!

Silent message from this number. I like the idea above - keep them hanging - if they ever talk lol.

Has anyone tried messaging or calling - probably cost £5 a minute.......

Had this number call me today asking for my ex housemates dad who died 4 years ago... got to be a scam as I know she's still with VM and its all in her mums name now.Told them to never call me again as this wasnt his number to begin with. When asked where she got my number from the sales woman got very defensive saying she couldn't discolse that information and hung up on me! Blatant scam!

Have been callled on my mobile (not VM) 4 times in the last week from this number, by two people with poor english saying they were from VM.  They asked me to provide them with personal information "to confirm that I was the account holder".  I refused as I thought it might be a scam.  I told them if they wanted to tell me anything they should write.  I see from other posts that it was VM.  Not happy.

This number called my mobile a small number of times and if I try to dial it I am warned it will cost 14p per minute, so I don't try.

Yes!!    i have done that it is fxxing great they get all excited, you can hear there eyes Kerching ing! just kept leading them on until I got bored, but was nice to get that deflated tone in their voice when I told them I was emigrating  next week would it make a difference!!

get called from them i answer it saying this call is being recorded for legal reasons and may and will be used in any legal action against yourselfs, then 3 posh sounding lawers names like singen, smith and farley law firm mr farley talking how may i help
