I've had 4 calls from this number over the last week, all at different times.  I answered once, and just got silence.  REALLY annoying.

I have a missed call from this number and Ican not call them back. I want to know, who was calling me?

@ about 16:30 22/09/210 recieved a call from 08004089341 which I answered with a Hello but recieved absolutely no response, very agitating as to me it appears they are checking to see if I am home before my abode gets broken into yet again

Got a call claiming to be virgin media. Basically started blabbing off saying he wants to offer me a new package (in broken English). Didn't even ask me if i wanted it. Tried to arrange a day to come install the service. Asked how i paid the bills, what bank i pay them with and then my DOB. Did not give him any but after the DOB question I hung up. Very sketchy altogether

This number called me at 9.30pm on a friday evening, two questions come to mind, isn't that a bit late to ring someone? and who the hell cares about broadband, phones or tv at 9.30 on a friday

Ive been getting calls from this number for about 2 weeks now, i never answer them, had similar happen to me a while back, claiming to be from T Mobile, my netwoek supplier, i soon found out they were actually a 3rd party company trying to con me into a 3 year contract through orange, they lie and tell you they are from one company when in actual fact they are a con company probably on alot of commision getting new contracts/customers.
They also tell you they will sort out your exsisting contract, where you will owe nothing, pay off any penalties for ending contract early, and supply you with the latest new mobiles at no charge.
I fell for it hook line and sinker, it took me 4 months and alot of stress to get it sorted out with orange and cancelled off, as i kept getting monthly bills from Orange for £294. As i am on T Mobile, it also COST me to call orange, and the calls were atleast 30 mins each time trying to explain the curcumstances.
AVOID getting into something that'll end up costing you in the long run, if i want to change my network, I'LL call them !!!!

why do you call to me all the time??

I kept getting the Virgin Media sales calls (08004089341) and half the time they just hang up.  They must be mad (or commercially suicidal) to annoy so many people like this and annoy them so much that they never purchase anything from that company.

I've tried to email them but you have to be a customer.  I'm currently on the phone hanging on for ages
("we haven't forgotten you... ") trying to talk to customer services.  Its an 0845 number (0845 454 1111) so don't know how much it will cost me. none of the 0800 numbers work at this time of night.

Not that they mind calling at all hours.

I'm going to start phoning thier sales people or better their marketing director as soon as I have his/her number!

betst thing to do is add yours and any other phone numbers to the tps list can find on google should stop the annoyin calls

they used to right constantly, after i checked this and other forums indeed seems like virgin offers etc. What i did to get rid of this annoying daily activity is to simply added a free blacklist app for my nokia. Added this number and now whenever they call i just see for a millisecond their number flashing on the screen and that's that. The calls being ignored and they get automatically busy tone :D

Get ur blacklists apps and BLOCK THEM!

this is right... its a SCAM! spoke to virgin the other day and they said that they do NOT call you they will only sent a letter to contact you. also there anre some email scams saying you bill wasnt payed!!!

I also had several missed calls and eventually answered them mistakenly. the person represented himself from Claim Guys promising to get money from credit card company. They send me contract letter even I did not ask him . But I did not post it back they still keeping to ring my mobile, They never stop calling. I think I have to write their contract that I don't want them to call me back, Really annoying.

3 calls today received on my mobile -- i didn't answer any of them -- but later i called the number back and got a warning message that my call would be charged, so i hung up -- (some mobiles charge for 0800 numbers) -- number now blocked

Got a call from this Number 18.45 On a Saturday Evening, is there no rest for these marketing people.
they ring several times a day, but we let the answer machine get the call - never any message left, just keep ringing. this is a first ringing on a Saturday evening. might try answering and use the "hold on there is someone at the door"

they ring everyday and I wont answer. They dont get the message!!! x

had about 20 calls from them...all left answer phone messages of someone just hanging up. when i did answer they just hung up. very very annoying!!! is there a way to  block it?
