This isn't Sky they say they are but on checking its domestic and general obviously looking for maintenance contracts. They should say who they actually are its wrong to ring and ask for your sky details etc. So beware.

SALES call form Domestic & General ... SELLING Insurance for Sky Box

Got a call asking for my name, address, password, mothers maiden name, how many people lived in my house and how old my son was then what gadgets i used in my house. I then said i don't feel comfortable giving all of these details over the phone and was told that was fine the information would be posted instead. I have logged a complaint with sky and was told it was from domestic and general as i had been put down or marketing. I'm very unhappy with this as i have never agreed to be put on a marketing list. I've had first hand experience with domestic and general through work and find them to be very unprofessional. Sky should be more careful who our inormation is being shared with.

Rang and left no message. This is just another unlawful company ringing you with utter rubbish or scams

Says calling on behalf of sky

Just had them call me asking if I was the sky account holder. Then hung up on me. If this has been going on for years why have sky not done something about it!!

It is from sky. They were asking if I was happy with my new box. I ordered a new mini box through them and then phoned sky after to check. It is all good.

Unsolicited call

I am receiving calls from 08005879843 and 08000561044 on average 5 times a day and this has been going on for weeks. They call on my land line and then my mobile. Extremely frustrating. It is actually reassuring that I am not the only one receiving these calls but I wish they would stop now.

They've called me 3 times now I have not answered thought I'd good it, but I have just had sky put in.. Is it ligit?..

23-7-17 / had several calls from this number & as has been already said, they say they are from legal & general on behalf of sky, its very annoying when legal & general say it could be a scam 0800 597 9843

They call about 4 times a day. Finally answered and they where asking me all random questions about what I was doing with my day and if I had any plans over the summer! Very odd!

I answered. They asked for my details and then password. I said I won't give him that and he said it's ok, he has it in front of him so If I give him a couple He can tell me. Gave him 2 wrong. He then told me they only get 3 attempts so can he call back tomorrow. ALARM BELLS ! Scam
