I am being called by someone repeatedly on the above number, they say nothing, but I get an echo feedback of my voice as I ask who it is. This is getting very annoying!

Stop this nuisance caller please.

When I answer they hang up so I have no idea who is calling. Very annoying.

Same with me getting calls constantly all hours and finally answered saying I know you are scam and reported you and hung up. If it was genuine they'd leave voicemail and start conversations about who they are. I've emailed sky awaiting reply

This is Domestic & General calling "on behalf of Sky". It's not Sky as they would have you believe, all they're trying to do is sell you insurance for the Sky equipment and anything else they can tag on such as the TV.

Tell them to do one as soon as they start asking questions about who you are and what your personal details are.

Glad I came online to read these comments, this number called me today asking for myself saying they were from Sky and would like to confirm some details with me, I reused to tell them any information and the women began to get frustrated. Telling me she could stop my sky contract at any minute.. 😂 Scammers

This number 08005979843 calls me every day I await the caller to speak they never do they just hang up then ring my mobile

2nd time they have called . Answered on this occasion . Asked security questions . Decided against giving away password suspecting it could be dodgy . Anyway, long and short of it trying to sell you Sky protection for £8.99 pm . Said no but was given some vaguely helpful advice . I’d like to point out that they don’t say they are FROM Sky but are calling on behalf of . In other words they are the insurance provider .

They knew I had just had a Sky Q box installed and then tried asking for personal details to confirm who I was. I said as I didn't instigate the call and didn't know them from a bowl of porridge I was terminating the call and hung up.

Countless calls on landline & mobile since getting Sky Q installed. Every day since January.

I have received call from 08005979643 , operator said he was from Sky and was recomending insurance for the Sky equipment and two household items, proceeded to say it was follow up call to recent Sky installation then quoted first three months insurance free then £8.99 per month. Then asked for confirmation of Sky password and sort code for bank etc. I declined details and then phoned Sky to check validity of call. Sky operator says Sky would never ask for bank details like this and that it was not a Sky originated or endorsed call BEWARE

Got a call on both home no and sky follow g recent sky q install.
Asked me my name address and then my password and answer to the first security question.
I did not give the last two items and the male hung up.
This is a scam - why ask for my password?

Scam , sky Woul.dnt call asking for personnel details. , they just called up asking for account holder , managed to get address  and date the account was opened , then pretended to transfer the call getting details put in, lucky my elderly father got fed up and confused and hung up , this is defiantly a SCAM

Constant calls getting really ridiculous making not wanting to go fo the phone potentially went it could be important

Say I g they're from sky constants phone calls I rang sky and they said they are NOT connected to this company or agent scammer I repeat SCAMMER

Go on to the sky id page and find 'my details' scroll to the bottom and untick any phone communication, hopefully they stop calling

Yeah, just had this number call me but ignored it and googled. Just joined Sky but don’t take risks with 0800 numbers.

Claimed to be from Sky customer services. Asked for my full name and to confirm my address. Then asked for my Sky password. That's when I said good by!

So this is a call on behalf of sky from domestic and general, if you ever feel like the call is not legitimate ask them to confirm your unique sky account number, if they can’t 10000% a scam, companies like domestic and general will have this information to give you before you give them any personal details, hope this helps!
