Just had a call from  08009555544 it rang once, I answered and the caller hung up. I rang back and an answer machine message replied, "You have been contacted by your Telecoms provider."" Why do they not say Talktalk? As far as I am concerned Talktalk are not my provider we cancelled with them 2 months ago. I presume it is either the email answer service or the CEO's office pretending to call me back. I have cancelled my contract with them on mobile, landline and internet services and they are trying to get me to pay money I do not owe. Funny I get a letter from the Manager at the CEO's office with a contact tell number and email address to contact him within 10 days or I will be unable to appeal. When I send an email the address provided is no longer used? You are then directed to go to the Talktalk site to send an email from there, and obviously then I will have no record of the email being sent to them. The telephone number an 0333 one is never answered it goes to answer machine, I have left several messages but never get a reply. It seems to me that this is Talktalk hiding away from me and doing everything possible to stop me contacting them. They can then pass me on to a debt collection service or to county court to persue monies and say I have totally ignored them? Well Talktalk I have news for you, if that's your game then bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just had a call from 08009555544. It was someone from the TalkTalk CEO office calling me about issues that I had raised by email. The email address that I used is talktalk_ceo@mailuk.custhelp.com.

This number is TT, I am one of their customers & they just called me on it this morning.

I got a call to my mobile AND land line within seconds of not answering land line. I would ONLY recommend Talk Talk to my worst enemy! Their service is DREADFUL...and if you ever move house....MUCH BETTER AND EASIER TO CHANGE PROVIDER!!!

I was contacted by TalkTalk via this number when our line got cut off (chatting to manager regarding an isue with YouView box)

He was helpful...

However, im guessing that this is the number that some of the call centers are putting out so that theyre returning missed calls are forwarded to this general number...

I have cancelled my contract with talk talk cos they have charged me 6 times my line rental bacause i went over my allowance. This is the number they cant stop calling me on......."please come back so we can rip you off over and over and over again!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This is Talk Talk. When people dial out the number shown is 0800 955 5544. 01925 number is head office at Birchwood. This I can confirm.

I complained to CPW. They contacted me on this number.

This was CPW customer service responding to an email i sent them.

Definitely not always nuisance calls, think you just get this outgoing number for so many different branches of them.

got a call from 08009555544 someone on line when i said hello they hung up earlier i had contacted talktalk for connection problems of the internet its usually ppi protection ,pains in the a$%e

I rang talktalk today and asked if 08009555544 was one of their numbers. They told me IT IS NOT.

They are realy TALKTALK. I am speak with one of advisers today on customer service number and he confirmed the correct time when i am receved two calls from 08009555544 regarding engineer appoitment. Anyway... DO NOT GIVE YOUR DETAILS BY THE PHONE...

I have twice got a phone call from these people(in the past couple days),  who have left a message on my mobile.
They say they are from Telephone warehouse & asking how I am getting on with my new phone!!.
I am NOT the person they named or  asked for on both occassions..
I'n not even with them for my mobile account ..Never have been..
I have now blocked them on my mobile..
Hopefully it works & they get the message to phone the proper number & person in future.

This IS TalkTalk dispite what some people are saying. They have left a voicemail stating as such. Not a scam Genuine reason for the call.
