Beware of scams askibg "can you hear me" or maybe is that so and so because they want your voice "yes" recording to conduct business supposed with your approval "yes" voice. Suspicious calls need no answer. I got one from this nunber just repeating hello hello helloand although I said hello they just repeated hello I gathered they wanted me to say something further be careful.

I am a Talk Talk customer and received a call from this number today. I was suspicious because the truecaller app flagged it as possible spam. I just phoned talk talk on the known number and they did confirm they tried to contact me.

Multiple silent calls from this number over the course of several weeks - sometimes 6 or 7 day.
I've NEVER been a Talktalk customer, the line is new from BT 3 months ago (new build apartments) from a new-issued number block for this town.
Rang Talktalk to complain - this DOUBLED the amount of silent calls. Torture because I work nightshift so I'm not impressed at all.

I was  told   by  one  of  talk talks  managers that talk ralk woiuld  bot talk to you  just  like  that they would    botify you first  so wether  they real or  not  i tell  them they are  scammers and  hang  up on them:))

Started calling me now and always silent. Even more annoying since I cancelled my Talktalk phone and broadband and switched provider over a month ago because those clowns left me without a working phone line for 3 months and were not even remotely interested in resolving my complaint.. New provider sorted it within a week

Block em.  Simple.

They're now spoofing it with a double zero prefixing the number (00800 9555544) which my (android), phone won't block as it says it's an invalid number.  If it's so invalid I wish the phone would just not accept it in the first place :-(

I've had several calls from 08009555544 claiming to be 'TalkTalk', the earlier ones sounded like a Call Centre in Bombay or Calcutta, claiming my Internet Email account has been compromised.

Later ones claim I owe them money for non payment of service.

I have recently purchased the property, the line accepts incoming calls, but not outgoing ones.
Aggressive Indian female demanded to know my name, I declined, stating for my security, and not wishing to be held accountable for a debt that is not mine. She then claimed they will be escalating the case for payment. I explained the previous owner has left without leaving a forwarding addresss, and wished her Good Luck.

Had a call on mobile? Said was TalkTalk and were taking away our Sky extras and we could have other channels. NOT TRUE. We called TalkTalk on their website. All was OK as it is. THEIR PHONE NUMBER HAS BEEN HACKED again.

Some guy pretending to be from TalkTalk who was very keen to take me through some “Security questions”. Obvious scammer

They called this morning. From Talk Talk, they said, wanting to discuss an order I have placed with them. 'I haven't placed an order', I said. 'You haven't placed an order with Talk Talk'? 'No', 'Sorry, goodbye' she said.

Got two calls on my mobile & one on my landline on the same afternoon from Talk Talk chasing up my complaint. BTW, I did not  answer any of them.
