Report a phone call from 08080000133 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- DeanI had loads of calls and yes its Vodafone outbound call centre - you just need to call up Vodafone using their freephone number 191 to stop the calls - hopefully it will work! Very annoying tho.
- DeanAs per my previous post, I called Vodafone to try and stop these calls but I still keep getting them!Grrrrrrrr.
- callumI keep getting the calls from them as well, its their retentions department trying to get you back if you request a PAC code.
This is getting really irritating now. During the process of moving, I explained the deal I was getting elsewhere to 5 different people, who all said they can't match it - so why keep ringing! - RedheadJoI've had several missed calls from this number & I fianlly answered one & there was no one there. When I called back it said "Thank you for calling Vodafone. We have tried to contact you for a courtesy call..." Not very curteious if they ring and don't say anything!!

- Bryan HA week back I wrote to Vodaphone telling them (after about 5 years or more) I was cancelling my monthly contract and wanted it transferring to a PAYT deal due to the very limited calls I make.
Thursday 19th I started getting the calls from 08080000133 which never seems to have anyone there.
Friday 20th a loooong call to a nice chap called Ali on 08080000166 who said he had marked my account to stop these calls and to get them to send me an email if they had anything usefull to say.
Monday 23rd I'm still getting the calls with no one at the other end.
I've sent a comment to Vodaphone that if they do not stop soon they can say goodbye to any future business from me.
I was wondering whether to get my wife a 3G dongle for her laptop - it is not likely to be with Vodaphone- Caller: Vodaphone
- Diego TIm a T-Mobile customer and i get 5 of these calls every day, been happening for the past week now, no one speaks so neither do i, i just answer it and put the phone on the side. its really annoying now how do i stop it?
- Caller: Vodafone
- ChrisI've had 3 calls in as many days from them. the stupid thing is I work for them (not in that dept obviously). they keep saying i've cancelled my DD which I haven't. I did have my daughter on my account and she's recently taken up her own one so would have cancelled her DD. I reckon it's about her old account that they are ringing me.
It is annoying though and I can fully understand how it might well upset people who would be worried by them saying you've cancelled your DD. they said they couldn't access my account, have they told anyone else this?
I've e-mailed staff accounts just to make sure all is ok and then will give these people a piece of my mind next time they call!
I don't know if anyone knows this but if you go on to vodafone.co.uk then choose help and then e-forums. they have VF staff on there answering questions. I would recommend e-mailing them to get your calls stopped.- Caller: vodafone
- RachelI haven't answered the calls from this number but I've been getting two missed calls a day for a week. I'm not even a Vodafone customer and I take it this is an official vodafone number. This is such bad practice as how did the company get hold of my number unless they bought it from an unauthorised source? Mobile phone companies seem to think they are above the law.
- Caller: Vodafone
- VazJoined vodafone two weeks ago from Tmobile and have been getting calls ever since. I assumed it was Tmobile begging me back as I kept the same number and they used to phone me constantly even when I was a customer! Puzzled why vodafone would be calling me, so answered today and there was no-one there! When I joined I stated I didn;t want any contact in any form other than letters and Im also registered with TPS but it seems to make no difference!
- ursulaim on o2 and have never been on vodafone but just got a call from this number and answered it and they put the fone down :S googled it too see what it was becaue it was a strange caller ID soo anoying.
- LiviaI have received several calls from this number, answered just ones and no one was there, therefore I stopped answering.
They should be stopped - Dave MurphyGot phone call, answered, it was just Vodafone "health check". I think they are pushing for people to upgrade contracts etc. I have been a Vodafone customer for about 4 years, and another 4 years prior to a 3 contract in between.
Entire call lasted about 2 mins - just asking me questions like "does your price plan work for you" etc.
Not an issue.- Caller: Vodafone
- weronavodafone? ah, that explains a lot. they keep on writing to me to get me back too...well, they shouldn't have been so rubbish...
- Caller: vodafone
- DeccaThey call me every Friday morning - then they hang up! I am a vodafone customer - contract almost up.
- sallyI'm fed up with this number calling me and I can't block it, if they call me why don't they answer ? It is harrassment. I'm a vodaphone customer but I won't be for much longer...
- Caller: Vodaphone
- HelenThis number rings me several times a day and it is driving me mad!!! I left Vodafone over a year ago - i dont think badgering people on the phone is going to tempt me back!
- sarahthis number is constantly calling me like 15 times a day and night and its annoying!!!!!
- Kristianoi have just recently left Orange and ive been a customer of theres for a good 5 years now and i have a missed call from this number funny how i got this now ive left them.
Theres definatly something going on when people leave companies, numbers must be sent on as some kind of punishment for leaving the company and when you try ring it back it will cost you loads
Its not only ex vodaphone customers its all tariffs - GwenI only just started to receive calls from this number since yesterday. They kept calling for about 3 or 4 times, all of which were missed. They called again today around the same time, and I just rejected the calls because I'm currently out of the country and have no intention being charged for receiving such nonsensical calls.
I have been with Vodafone for a couple of years, and my remaining contract is still quite a long time. I've not made any change (e.g. about the direct debit or anything). So I really don't know why they suddenly felt the urge to contact me like this.
Thanks to the website. I was worried at first what freaky number this was, and was really reluctant to answer because I'm currently overseas. - RachelHad a missed call from this number today at 5.35pm. Wrote to Vodaphone last week to cancel my mobile contract.
