I have just written to vodafone to cancel my contract and received a call from this number within 48hours!

been with vodafone for 1 week and just got the first one. will not answer due to previous comments.
if it carrys on like others have had i will just cancel and go elsewhere .

Just cancelled my contract too have also been receiving these nuissance calls, have emailed Vodafone to cease all calls or a report will be sent to the ambudsman, lets see what happens...........

Just recieved a call from them now. Not answered, seems a little odd though i was with vodafone 18mnths ago, maybe they're trying to get me back!!

I have received three calls from this number over the last two days. I am currently with T-Mobile though. Although the number was with vodafone 18 months ago. As mentioned before, are they ringing to try and get me back?

My contract ends at the end of February, and was going to cancel it as I already have a new contract with vodafone with a new number.

As soon as I took the call the person at the other end hung up. I have no idea who was calling me.

I received a call from the above number that rang off as I answered.  I am concerned as you hear so much about people being able to hack onto your phone.  Should I worry about this?

Cancelled my contract to go to o2 purely for iphone, have to say they were very good until i cancelled. Now getting 8-10 calls a day from this number which is not very convenient when you're a district nurse!! Unfortunately they've forgotten that the phone I have from them has the option to block calls at phone level...result!

I've just had 2 messages telling me to expect a call within 48 hrs from this number to give me a PAC code, but when I spoke to them about it they said it would be sent in the post. Seems left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Also, I checked my log and this number rang 2 days ago trying to persuade me to stay with Vodaphone, but as I now have an iPhone, it's not going to happen.

I've had a lot of missed calls from this number too over recent months, but then I also get plagued by Orange ringing me and telling me that my contract is up for renewal, even though I havne't been with Orange for years and my current number was never with Orange.

Can't be Vodafone chasing people backt o them, as I am with Vodafone, and I receive the calls too.

Someone needs to look into this a bit further and get them to BACK OFF calling for no good reason.

I guess they just received my cancellation letter... now i know why my bills are so high!

I requested my PAC from Vodafone yesterday evening; received a call from this number at midday today.

Got a call from this number. Have written to Vodafone 3 times to cancel contract and have had no response back from them. Presumably it has been cancelled now I am getting calls from this number!!

Have had another call from this number - it is the Vodafone Retention Centre.

They were calling me because they found out I cancelled my direct debit with them.

In addition to my previous post it turned out they gave me the wrong e-mail to cancel my contract!

I keep getting called by this number and am still a Vodafone customer. I find it hard to believe its from Vodafone as no message is ever left. If someone needs to contact bad enough then they will leave a message. So I'm just assuming its a dodge number and will continue to ignore it!

Keep getting calls from this number. A Google search shows it to be a Vodafone retention team number, but I've never been a Vodafone customer. My current phone (for the past three years) is with Virgin Mobile, and I've been incredibly careful about only giving the number to trusted friends. How have Vodafone got my number and why do they keep calling me - and then hanging up?!

Haha, just google up the number and this was the first website. so its vodafone, lol, i left them 2 years ago and they still at it.

I have received a number of calls from this number - but havnt manged to answer it yet - they do call at strange times 7am in morning and 11:30 at night.  I did wonder why they called so often and yet didnt leave a message.  I wont bother answering it then.

after reading these comments answered the next call from vodafone. told them no chance of getting back with them and if they wanted to no the reason why ,check up this site

Just had a call so I did what I imagine you guys all did, and googled it. Strange though, cos I'm on PAYG with Vodafone so I don't know why they'd be calling me.
