Report a phone call from 08080000133 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- CarlSame with many previous comments I left them as they are rubbish now they wont go away. Wanted the PAC code which is anightmare to sort out. The number is indeed dead when you answer it, I have answered twice but receive at least five calls a day from it.
Has anyone ever spoken to anyone on the other end yet?- Caller: Vodafone
- GRANTSTARTED ABOUT A WEEK AGO I PICKED UP TWICE AND JUST GOT SILENCE HOPE IT AINT A CHARGE BACK SERVICE ..... NOW IM GETTING 2 CALLS A DAY EVERYDAY CAN WE STOP THIS NUMBER . ITS SO ANNOYING ARE WE SURE ITS VODAFONE AND NOT SOME SCAM
- SheilaI am the one that put 'Bloody Vodafone' on my blog. It is now the page that gets the most hits. It is getting about 20 people a day just googling 08080000133 or coming from this site. I am shocked... there are people all over UK getting hassled like this and do Vodafone really think they will win customers like this?
I will never use them again. It is harassment. But harassment to a huge amount of the population.
My account has been cancelled and my phone has gone silent, at long last :) - Treo JonesJust ordered my PAC yesterday and guess who phoned today? I can only guess! As there was absolute silence when I eventually answered.
- john overtoncalled by this number today and no answer: presumably to check that i was still using their line.
i called vodafone yesterday to inform them that i was leaving them and they said i had to write a letter to give them 30 days notice.
it sounds like this should be reported to the consumer watchdog group or something like that.
i expect many more calls and will be sure to tell them where to go shove it. - MusashiI recieved a "silent-call" around 2hrs ago. That was followed up by another call from some bloke named "Saqib".
He wanted me to extend my contract because it was comming to an end in 3-months. If I get anymore harrassing calls from Vodafone, then I definitely won't be extending my contract.
I'm contacting Ofcom - the telecoms watchdog.
I've already got my number down as un-listed, with the express request that my number not be shared by anyone.
I suggest that all the above contact Ofcom to complain about this behaviour.
Almost two years ago I left Orange (after 11-years) because they did the same crap - looks like Vodafone is no better! - Mehulhad a 5min silent call from voda after i asked for my pac. moved to orange after they offered me a better deal and (jan sale) £180 cash back direct through orange. voda couldn't match the deal nor could they offer me the amount of text as asked for without increasing my charge.
- Caller: Vodafone
- jessphoned me and i kept hangin up!

nice1 vodafone!
il advise ya 2 answer n listen 2 wot dey can offer you!! - Ann| 1 replyOne positive comment from many very unhappy people. Makes me think that "Jess" is a Vodafone employee and this is their poor attempt at a PR job.
I cancelled my Vodafone contract last week, the day after my initial phonecall to them I've had approx. 15 of these annoying calls. Vodafone - take a look at this website - people aren't impressed with you!!- Caller: Vodafone
- Maya| 1 replysame story here.... sent them a letter asking to terminate my contract - and I guess they must got it today coz them silly phone calls started!
Not supraised ppl get fed up with it - been trying to sort out few things with Voda but their customer care is rubbish!
Cnt wait till end of my contract! Aint gnna answer any of their calls either .... if there is anything really urgent leave a bloody message on answerphone! - Mayajust as an update - received 4 calls from that number yesterday - so far my phones bn quite today !
- AlannaHad 6 of calls from this number in two days - decided to google it - found I am not the only one to have received them Was reluctant to answer in case the calls were part of a scam - that a bill would be run up. Why don't they just talk to you when they call - we can always call back if we want to verify that the call is genuine. Common sense - something these big companies often lack!!
- MayaWithin 10 days had 26 missed calls from this no - automaticaly am rejecting them cnt b bothered! A bit more than 3 weeks left with Voda - cnt wait till I'll be disconnected!
- MayaOhh... now I am receiving phone calls from 08080000144 number - veryyyy verryyy strange :P
- Captain SnapzI started getting them too since I asked for a PAC number. If you ring Vodafone (191 from your Vodafone) and complain they will stop the calls.
- Caller: Vodafone
- anonI keep getting calls from this number and i'm not even with vodafone! I've had about 5 calls every day for the last week. i'm fed up of it!
- fed upThey called me several times, when I said I don't want junk calls they said "It's not a junk call it's Vodaphone!!!!!"
- Emmai have a call from this number today, i have been reading your comments, but i am still with vodafone.
not sure if your all familiar with the number 0808000144, been having call from that number too, but when i answer no one is there..
wish they would leave me alone, spoke to phones4u (where i got my phone from) and they sed it has been a scam thats been going around for a while, and they told me to ring vodafone, they were useless!! so now i am considering changing my contract!!- Caller: 0808000133
- sabThe same happened to me today
- David HourihanI joined Vodafone in July 2007 when I bought the then new N95. For the first few weeks I had calls from these types of numbers but they spoke and tried to get my bank details by claiming to be Vodafone cutting the price of my insurance. They stopped after a few weeks but I have now got around 7 from this same number in the past 4 weeks. As like the other posters, I also receive no response from the other side. I checked my phone bill for January but it didn't cover 30th Jan (when I first received the call). I have yet to check my February's - so hopefully they haven't charged me.
My only doubt is that it isn't Vodafone, only some scammer claiming to be - like my previous calls.
Luckily, it seems most of the numbers seem pretty distinguishable with 08..00000... type numbers. So they're relatively easy to spot.
