This number called me today and as I answered the caller / system immediately hung up.
I am a Voda customer and haven't tried to cancel my contract, which still has months to run?
Need to see if I get charged for answering it.

My phone is a work contract with 70,000+ employees, cant imagine we are cancelling that contract!

I just got a phone call, offering me an iPhone from their first batch. I said no, and the guy on the other end seemed genuinely confused.
I assumed it was a scam or something, but I'm pretty sure he said my name.

As far as I can remember, I've never been with Vodafone, I've always been with Orange.

Anybody know what that's all about? =S

never was on vodafone, my current number started on orange but it's been with o2 fro 4 years now...and i am on a simplicity contract...not requested to leave...

Just got a call from this number, but no-one there, could only hear breathing and other people in the call centre.  If it's the Retention centre, then there's no need to call me - I'm Vodafone Pay As You Go, with no thoughts about leaving yet!

Just had a missed call from this number to.  They must be having their seasonal push on numbers.

I've not asked about leaving Vodafone, as am a PAYG customer, but had asked them ages ago about upcoming contracts with the new C905.

I have only been on Vodafone since August this year, but i'm not a contract customer. I'm a pay as you go. I have recieved the stupid phone call 5 times in two days. I never got this when i was on o2. :@(

this number phoned me today and then cut me off before i could even find out who it was that was calling. I'm not even on vodafone!

I read the comments on here after they called me but i didnt awnser. Im with Vodafone pay as you go but im not thinking of leaving. im not going to awnser it if they ring me again.

I had 2 missed calls from this number, im still an active client, and i answered the 3rd call only to get an odd beep and then silence, and then when i looked again i had been disconnected

ive just sent a letter to vodafone to cancel my contract, im cancelling then just starting a sim card only with them. this number phoned me about 20 times in the last few weeks and i answered today, was very wary of who it was and if it was legitimate,they offered me a fantastic deal, i asked why the last 4 people i spoke to at vodafone didnt offer me this and he said he was from head office and they are the only one's that can offer these excellent deals.

Joined Vodafone online a week ago as wanted the new Blackberry have yet to receive the phone but have been called 3 times today from that number on my old O2 pay as you go number.

10 blooming times!!! Urgh! all i did was change my phone from contract to pag! We have to get it to stop! it is majourly annoying! we must complain!

I keep getting hang-up calls from this number.

Rang up three days ago to request my PAC as I want to change contract (I am leaving Vodafone after 6 years as they can not offer me the deal I want with the phone I want) and I am now receiving at least 5 calls a day off this number, its driving me mad. I've no intentions of answering! So far today (and its only 14:00) I have been called 4 times!

This number will keep ringing until you answer the phone. If you dont want the number to call you again, answer the call and you get taken off the system. You can request to be removed if you answer your phone

Having worked for vodafone several years ago - Voda ring you from this number to try and to find the reason for cancelling and generally offer some really fantastic deals... i know it can be annoying (i know from experience recently) but it well worth answering to see what deal they can do - worst case you can request them to stop calling you!!

I also requested and received my PAC code recently and since then the calls have been non stop. Id say I get an average of about 8/9 calls a day, even on the weekends! I dont mind picking up so that I can tell them to stop calling me but there is no one there on the other end.

Is there anything I can do to stop this apart from just complain about it here?

cancelled my order for a blackberry storm after waiting for the next day delivery and  no phone came i finally contacted vodafone and was told it could be over a week before it would come what do i do stay in every day until its delivered so i bought an iphone instead and now vodafone are ringing me three times a day
