just had the call from this number,diddnt answer,im reading that its vodafone but ive been on o2 for ten years so why are they calling me?sounds a bit fishy,my advice is to block the number from calling again,thats what ive done.

I've just had a mised call from this number and am also an O2 pay monthly gold customer.

Disappointed I missed the call, could do with winding up some dodgy scammers!

I keep getting calls from this number, my partner answered it and they said they were from vodafone calling about my account, the funny thing is my mobile is an o2 pay as you go lol.

I'm getting these calls and I'm not even a Vodafone customer, am ignoring them... even more so after reading these comments

I got a call from them 5 minutes ago. They've been calling me for weeks and I finally answered.

The conversation went along the lines of:

"Hello Madam, I'm just calling from Vodafone services blah blah blah.

Me: "Uh ... OK."

Them: "We're just talking about our mobile phone services in the area. Can I ask who are you with right now?"

Me: "Orange."

Them: "And are you on a contract?"

Me: "Look, I'm not switching to Vodafone any time soon if that's what you're going to ask."

Them: "Oh, no. I just wondered, how long will it be until your contract's up?"

Me: "Not for a long time."

Them: "And does anyone else in your house use pay-as-you-go?"

Me: "No."

Them: "And do you use the internet?"

Me: "Uh, yeah."

Them: "Ok, thank you very much."

Me: "Okay ... that was a random conversation."

Them: [chuckles]

I hang up.

Now I'm kicking myself for telling them the very little I did. Nothing vital but what's the deal?

Just got a call form this number, only 1st time but decided to google it as I've had different circumstances before.
Am not with vodaphone never have, have been with Tesco for years

had 2 missed calls from this number i am not with vodafone im with o2 but glad that i googled it as i dont trust what the b******s had to say ,mugs!

they kept trying to get me to get a contract phone with them saying it only costs 10 pound a month then kept asking me details i thought they sounded strange so i said no thanks and hung up the phone ever since then they dont stop ringing

i dont know how but they knew my name as soon as i answered a women said hi their susan french its vodafone here [***] [***] they ring me again i will give them a piece of my mind the mad [***] should be locked up

I have just had a call from this number and im not even on Vodaphone.. .
they didnt say anything, all i could hear was noises in the back ground

I get the same thing, person saying their from vodafone asking If I want to upgrade, funny thing is im with another provider. classic

theyve been trying to call me and i was thinking im sure i havent given my number to any companies as i only got the phone last week, you have all been very helpful and i certainly wont be answering!!

This number called me about a week ago and picked it up, they said they were from Vodaphone and asked about what services I had, I was just about to go out so I told them I was busy and hung up. I've had several missed calls from this number since and was rather suspicious, especially as I'm not with Vodaphone and never have been, now I definatley know not to answer any more calls from them.

I keep missing the calls so rang the number from a phone line on 9/10.  Got a message that this was from vodaphone courtesey call.

This may well be Vodafone number, however due to the fact that I am on O2 and have been for 7 years i find it hard to believe that Vodafone would in fact be ringing me regarding my tariff!!!

have had countless calls from this number but only to 1 of my phones. The first couple of times i picked up without really looking at the screen, but the line instantly went dead. Not even the stupid vodafone chat. None of my phones are with vodafone.

Been recieving daily calls from this number and sometimes more than once!!!
I have ignored it until now and got a male colleague to answer it for me, he heard back ground noise but no one spoke back to him. Will carry on ignoring as I am sure they will get bored before I do!!!

I have had a call from this number for the last 2 weeks. when i answer they hang up!!!

theyve phone me about 7 times.. and if theyre pretending to be from vodaphone then thats pretty stupid cos im on o2 lol
