Same number calls me and I',m with O2, so must be a scam!

i'm glad i googled this number,keep missing the calls so i thought i would try calling them back,found out it was vodaphone upgrade,thought it was a scam as i'm with O2,so don't think i'm eligible for a vodaphone upgrade

I got a call from this number. when i saw number it's like bit confusion.

had a call today from this number but didnt answer it looked lie a dodgy number and if it is a scam for vodafone customers then they definately got it wrong with me im an o2 payg customer. so i definately wont get an up grade. wot a shame

just had call from this number i didnt recognise it so i didnt answer, checked on here n seen that u guys said it was vodafone offering upgrades, i find this extremely amusing seeing as how i am with O2 haha, ill definately answer n give them a taste of their own medicine :D

That's wierd, im not even with vodafone yet i got a call from 08080000144 it rang twice and then cut off so not convinced that it's vodafone as i've never been with them guys and im on a o2 contract

this number has phoned me twice this week-not answering!

i received a call from this number this morning. I answered, but no-one spoke to me, the cheek!

This number keeps ringing me, it is driving me mad, but after reading all these posts i am glad that i haven't answered it.

iv had a call from this number at least once a day for the past week. i am on o2 and im on pay as you go so why on earth would vodaphone be calling me is beyond me

Had a second call from this number today, but again was at work so didnt answer it, which im now glad of. Do find it ammusing to hear its a vodafone upgrade, im with orange and never been with vodafone. you would have thought they would be doin it with the biggest provider in the country to catch more people out really - how stupid of them

Same here. I have also missed a few of their calls and decided to Google the number today. Funny how it looks like they started doing the rounds with Vodafone customers and now they've moved onto o2 (which I am).

It would be interesting to know if as with the Vodafone customers who rang 191 to check if it was a legit call and were told that it was indeed a Vodafone number if it now works the same with 02 customer services??

I just got a call of them 5 minutes ago. At the time I was blasting music, heard my phone go, answered and said hello. Silent call again! Kept saying "hello?" and they hung up. Googled the number straight away. If they ring back im on to them!! Dodgy idiots. Thanks guys!

I just got a call from this number and i'm on O2 for goodness sake, and pay as you go, if they call back i'm telling them where they can sove it.
