Ok guys I have read all of the above, I have been receiving phone calls from this number 08080000144 too and I AM NOT A VODAFONE CUSTOMER... I am ACTUALLY an O2 CUSTOMER, so i dont understand why VODAFONE would be calling me! so i have decided NOT to answer.

I would maybe recommedn the same, but up to you! I wont be answering the phone to that number.

Yeah, i have also recieved a couple of phone calls from this number, it was strange indeed. I said hello but there was no any other sign from the other end of line. Thanks guys next time i wont be picking up the number!

This is a scam.
The reason I know this is it can't be Vodaphone calling to check I am happy with my service since I am on O2!!!!!!!

Don't give them any information at all!!!

I did too but i just got a missed call.

This has to be a scammer, I ignored this phone call. Everyone on here seems to be mentioning Vodaphone, I'm not even with Vodaphone, so they definately would not be offering me an upgrade!

These guys are still at it, they called me today and hung up when I answered. I calld the number back and a message siad I would be charged for ringing the number so I hung up. I am not now nor ever have been a Vodaphone customer

just received a call from this number and did not answer as very suspicious of numbers i don't know. googled it and seems to be vodafone which is strange since my contract is with t-mobile.

Also had a call from these guys. Didn't answer because i didn't feel my phone go off. Glad i checked on here, if they call back i will give them a peice of my mind!

I got a missed call from this number aswell about ten mins ago.

mad thing is i've been reading the posts and they're all vodafone users but i'm on o2 so god knows why they're ringing me???

anyone been offered a phone contract or had one with no bank details that was delivered

I'd like to know how this company can call me, claim it's Vodafone and that it's offering upgrades etc, when I'm an O2 customer, don't own a contract and have been an O2 customer for years. How the hell have they been able to get my details?
All week long I have been receiving calls from this number, sometimes 4 to 5 times a day. They never leave a message and luckily I've been smart enough not to answer!

I keep getting prank calls from this number! I answer and nobody speaks, it's one thing to sacm but being a scamer and prank calling just doubles the insult!

Just read the other messages and thave noticed it seems to be 'vodafone' calling o2 and I am on ORANGE!

I keep getting this too....3 or 4 calls a day that i ignore!!  Im with O2

Had a witheld call yesterday and they said they were from Vodafone and wanted to ask me some questions. I said I didn't have a contract with them and he said 'that dosen't matter'. So I tried to get rid of him, saying I had no time because I was at work and he said 'it'll only take a few minutes'. I insisted I didn't want to talk to him and rang off. Just got a call today from 08080000144 and checked this website so it must be them ringing back. I have never had a Vodafone account so I don't know why they're ringing me. I'm going to add to my block list.

Just had a missed call from this number, generally I never answer the phone when the number looks suspicious like this one, they are usually scammers!!!!This is great that you can google such a  number and it always comes up as a kind of scam.

And I#m with Oragne so i have no idea why Vodafone could be rinign me, never had anything to do with them, interesting how they got my details.....

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!! This number has been calling me twice a day for at least a week.

They hang up as soon as I say hello, but if i answer the call but dont say anything the line just stays quiet. SO annoying.

Apparently iphones dont do call barring on a per-number basis and Orange doesnt either. Anyone know how i can stop these calls??

I understand what you mean alistair but i'm on orange and am still getting these calls! I cannot ring 191 to find out who it is!

Def some sort of sales scam - not Vodafone. Don't give your details just ask them not to call again.
