I have just had a call from this number and decided to Google it! glad I did, funny tho I only upgraded 2 weeks ago......... Cant wait for them to call back, I think I might have a bit of fun

I have had calls from this number for past two weeks.  wen i do answer they just hang up

Just got a phonecall from that number there missed it cause i was making tea. Only got my phone last week so was puzzled as to who the number was googled it and ended up here.  Thinking I may phone Vodafone and see whats going on.

Phoned 191 and they guy on there phoned the number and then said its just a courtesy call and i need to take no further action.

Me and a colleague have both had recent calls from this number offering a 'free' upgrade from vodafone.  However, you have to change number...  Why would you have to do this if staying with Vodafone???

I get about one call everyday, sometimes more, so glad i've never picked up! Although i am really tempted to just so i can tell them where to go.

Stop calling my phone constantly i will not answer your calls

This number called me today. Thanks for the warning. I didn't answer but it looks like it is still going.

This number is a genuine Vodafone UK number. I spoke to Vodafone today about this thread and they confirmed that the number is a special department set up to deal with business retention. Vodafone have been hit by the bankruptcy of some operators which offered "cashback" line rentals. Customers have been calling Vodafone with complaints about losing their s[ecial deals, so Vodafone has had to respond.

Thanks to this I've blocked the number and registered on tps.

Missed their call a few times but answered today.
They asked about my internet usage and asked for my name.
I asked who they have registered on the number but they said they can't do that.
I told them that I wasn't interested and asked them not to call again, then hung up.

Finally was able to answer the phone to this number today and it was a simple curtosey call to see how i was liking my new phone and asked if i had got my welcome pack through the post etc, she told me my price plan and all that jazz so i think maybe some people are over exagerating the scam thing!

I've just been called by this bunch. They hung up quite quickly. But they are obviously still going!

had 2 missed calls from this number today was told to put number on Google and it has come up with all these replies, have only gone to Vodaphone a week ago interesting i should be elegible for an upgrade already, i dont think so !

I just spoke to Vodafone on 191 after missing 2 calls.  The man checked on the internal list and said it was one of their companies.  He'd asked if I called back and whether a message had said it was a courtesy call (which it had).

He said he can note for them not to contact me.

Had 2 calls today from this number, following up a recent upgrade and seeking further personal information from me, which I declined to provide.  At the time of the upgrade Vodafone tried to sell me various extras which I did not want and politely declined.  I found the calls intrusive and unnecessary and if they are Vodafone they are not doing themselves any favours.

I get calls at least 2-3 times a day from them... Googled the number and found this, so thanks guys.
