this number just rang me. I didnt answer, and no message was left. I live in Bucks.

This number has been calling for months leaving message saying they can wipe my debts.  I'm in Shrewsbury.

I received a recorded 'message' from this number that was just silence.

Who is this that keeps ringing me.

These monkeys seem to have a batch of similar numbers and are desperate to wring information out of me. Another addition to the block list. TPS seems to becoming increasingly ineffectual.

Rings 2/3 times a week. Advises to press 5 for more info or 9 to stop calls coming through. It says calls will be free of charge. BT adise me that they probably won't be free.

Bt inform me only way to stop these type of calls is to go x directory and join Telephone Preference Service.

Someone is leasing the line(s) to these people and making money out of it. Bt say it is not them. WHO is it then ??

I have just about had enough of this number calling 3-4 times a day (and most evenings).  Why cannot they be stopped !!!1

I kept hearing buzzing noises similar to  phone ringing (off the television perhaps ???) so I picked up my phone and did 1471 to see if it was my phone's bell not working. just buzzing.

The last call was yesterday was while I was out.- the last number being 0843764013 with BT offering to put me through.   I just hung up.etc.

Because I was on line this morning - I put the number in my search do-dah and found you.,

I have no debts, no credit cards, no cable, my phone is BT. my internet AOL. the number in the directory is in my dead father's name who had no debts or credit cards, no cable, no internet etc.

May be their system rings numbers at random.

Got a call from this number when watching "CORONATION STREET" [***].
and it wasen't the humphreys.

This number 08432764013 (or a similar number with last 2 digits changed) rings me almost every day more than once, usually during working hours when I am not in.  I never return calls to numbers I don't recognise or to 'international' or 'withheld' numbers, as I assume they are telemarketers, so have never spoken to anyone from whatever company they represent.  I have Virgin Media house phone and cable, currently no loans or credit card debts (though I do still have a Capital One card among others that I have not used for some time), and I live in Northern Ireland.

We get lots of calls from this number, my son now picks up and if they DO start talking tells them to F.O, most companies stop calling after you swear at them these DONT

This number and 101,019,are calling me upto 9 times a day and have been for te past 4 months, I have also moved to Virgin Media and have never had this problem until I moved. I'm in the midlands too.

Sick to death of cold callers.  I even have one phoning from either canada or America.  Only one person calls me from Canada but they've tracked my number.

As for these 08 numbers I ever pick up, I come here and see at a glance how many others they are calling.  They must generate randome 6 digit phone numbers which isn't rocket science one they have a area code.  Don't know if they'll ever be successfully stopped but if I didn't need a phone line for my Internet I'd be tempted to unplug the damn thing altogether.  I've already got my ring tone on the lowest setting but that's three cold calls I have had today.  It's driving me and no doubt other innocent residents to distraction.  Don't pick up - they never leave a message anyway but they still call regularly - I was hoping that by not answering they would assume the number was not active and give up.  Pests!!!
