Well hopefully the calls from them have stopped - and don't get worked up again!  (not easy I know when you're on the receiving end).  To be honest, their cheek just amazes me! I haven't heard from them since my TS contacted them, but they still try it on with other people - they must know we're all comparing notes!  Anyway just relax and laugh at their antics and if it gets too much sign off for a while.

Do you have caller display on your phone, so you needn't pick up if it's them? Have you had any joy with contacting the agencies we suggested?  I wish Trading Standards would speed things up a bit - and get together with each other to compare notes!

When I spoke to my TS last week and she was going to contact cheshire, she said that it wasn't something which could be dealt with quickly.

Which is your local TS? Some of them don't accept direct enquiries. eg. I found an apparent email for Cheshire but got an autoreply to say that it wasn't in use. My local one does reply but takes quite a while to do so

That is a TAPA number ? Or did you mean TS has rung you? I haven't seen that number. I was rung from a different one.

Yes that is a TAPA number.  Google it.  He has started using that number again, also the other one.  He says his name is Daniel Curren or Cullen from TAPA

This is funny they have installed a forum on their site to discuss nuisance calls!!  I have posted several times on there today about TAPA and every one was deleted!

Thank you for that, I did wonder where the posts went on that site.

They closed the thread when TAPA complained that some of the posts were defamatory. I think they will now allow the thread to continue as long as the posts are factual, honest and NOT abusive.
You can find it by typing in TAPA and selecting Forum - first post comes up under the name LizaM (look familiar??)

SO it has come to the sad fact that we have had to change our landline and mobile phone number because of TAPA.  Last night he kept calling both phones , also left messages.  I think this person has a mental problem, sure he was drunk when he left the messages!  I spoke to the local TS who are going to look into this comapny.

Along with all their other misdemeanours, TAPA are now in breach of the Data Protection Act! They have published my name and address without my permissionI know its them , as nobody else on this thread has it. People may have my email (bet you wonder what we say about you amongst ourselves Mr Irvine), but nobody was given my postal address. I wonder if they thought they were going to scare me into silence? Nice try Mr Irvine  - TS and ICO have been informed.
