- Facts replies to Unhappy| 1 replyCuriously enough the TAPA VAT number is genuine. What they do with the VAT receipts is another matter... contact HMRC if you paid them and see what they say. They hate VAT scammers. Further back you'll see how few complaints it takes to the ASA about TAPA's various dodgy sites for them to investigate.
- Facts replies to nomadWhat's TAPA's sort code and account number, Kurt?
- Nomad replies to Facts| 2 repliesOoouch that hurt.......but true! Lesson learnt and I just wasnt aware of TAPA as a scammer even though a simple search this evening brought up a huge amount of information. Yep, I think a big FO is forthcoming and thank you for your response and advise, I'll let you know if anything interesting comes out of this. Keep up the threads as they are a life saver to anyone being screwed over. Thanks.
- Nan replies to Nomad| 1 replyHi, as you may have realised from reading back on this thread, LizzieM was fighting cancer at the time she was posting on here. Phil142, another poster, had contact with her outside this forum and it stopped, so we assume the cancer won. I think that her discussions with Paypal back in 2011 led to TAPA accepting other forms of payment, but cannot be sure. One thing with your DDs, you have hard proof of payment.
- phil142 replies to NanI haven't checked this site for quite a while now. I can confirm however that I never did hear from Lizzie again. Initially I hoped that it was a temporary gap (perhaps an emergency hospital stay) but it is now over a year since I last heard from her.
- Facts| 6 repliesThis is the usual TAPA scam Comedy of Errors :-) The TAPA stooges are unable to substantiate their claims about their opponents with evidence or hard data such as a court case proving fraud and criminality so are falling back on ineffectual logical fallacies. This site is a real pain for criminals and is therefore trashed and discredited at every opportunity, albeit ineffectually.
Simister's TAPA scam protection racket is in pain - the scam's income stream is threatened so his posts are increasingly emotional. Every exposed scam requires a quota of 'fence-sitters' to attempt to sway those who see through the scam into believing that the scam it is not as criminal as it actually is. Posts like Phil's and ?'s are designed to do just that and question the validity of hard data and factual evidence.
Enjoy the Comedy of Errors while it lasts :-) It is a play as old as human criminality, the only thing that changes are the actors. As long as human stupidity exists, criminals' scams will exist. You can legislate against the latter but not the former ;-)- Caller: TAPA Scam
- Call type: Event reminder
- ? replies to Facts| 5 repliesWhere's the evidence for your claim of TAPA committing crimes? What Police force is dealing with the investigation? Which Trading Standards office has a current investigation? There is plenty of info about court cases against the person behind this site, which mostly get dropped by the complainant as she wangles free legal cover many simply can't afford to take action as they are having to pay! FACT!
I don't like that TAPA profiteer from the fact people get scammed as much as I don't like the fact ADT profiteer from criminals the police should stop. At the same time I am mesmerised that you slander everybody yet think it's acceptable?! If this so called Simister guy is CURRENTLY committing a crime (not previous misdemeanors as you have clearly exposed) then what is it?
As with my previous post, you are a b**lsh***er as much as TAPA and this site. Get a life and go to the police, report the crime TAPA has committed and post the crime reference number and Police station that is dealing with it. As yet you have not stated how they have 'scammed' you! This only fuels the fires of suspicion that your motive is not entirely genuine!
My screenshots show your comments about 'phil142' were removed, maybe your getting a bit overactive in your own warped mind. Sod off and come back with some CURRENT breaking news about the scam.

Is that not what you are doing to 'nan', 'phil142' and even TAPA? Phil142 and nan have clearly expressed their issues with TAPA and have given opinion based on their experiences as am I, are you? Phil142 simply stated the obvious, the same info being repeated over and over. You either think everybody is thick and is unable to read the 1st time it's posted and retain that information or, you are hanging on to the fact this guy has done wrong and are desperate for them to be stopped doing what they currently do at any cost (including patrolling this and other forums 24hrs a day 7 days a week)! I syour business affected by TAPA being in existence? Do you have a business? WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH TAPA?
I joined, thought it was crap and cancelled. Never paid a penny as was dubious due to scams. That's my beef! You seem very upset about my questions regarding this site, why? Do you not champion exposing people that operate in less than genuine circumstances? Why so defensive of this site? Do you have a personal interest in the preservation of the site owners 'reputation'? Why not do some digging? This is a site to express opinions about possible scams is it not? Why do my posts get removed if that is the case? Why o why? (hand slaps forehead) - Facts replies to ?| 4 repliesWonderful :-) Another emotional response ignoring and ineptly trying to avoid the substantiated evidence about the TAPA scam and Anthony Michael Simister and company... in the same vain as Eastway. Wonderful :-)
- Nan replies to FactsThe 'phone number you wanted is 08432896037. I did post it earlier, but it was removed along with the other posts. I am still awaiting a response from the Moderator to my question.
- ? replies to FactsLike you did with Eastway and countless others on other threads about other companies you ignore the FACT I say TAPA are sh*t?!
Just because an opinion completely ridicules your attempts at intelligence and because I unlike the others refuse to be bullied by you that evidently makes me 'emotional'? Yep, damn straight it does!! I can't stand pr**ks like you, forums where monkeys with dictionaries can post and companies that claim to provide a service that doesn't do what it say's like TAPA!
At the same time I'm old and wise enough to say, SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE!!!! There's plenty of court references about alleged 'old companies' run by Simister but none on TAPA. GIVE ME THE PROOF!!!!!!!!
Not domain registrant details, not old court cases but current, factual PROOF!!
I DO NOT LIKE YOU, THIS SITE, TAPA, THE ATTITUDE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU!! Got that???
I have posted on here as it's a forum for 'scams'?! Yet my posts get removed when they are factual and informative. Just because you don't like the comment please come up with a better rhetoric than I'm some part of TAPA! Please, it's very, very boring now!! - ? replies to FactsOh, let me explain, when I say they are sh*t, that's because I had an experience with them. It's not libelous to express my opinion when it is based upon a testimony of fact and truth. I did not say they a fraudster, scammers or extortionists so this and my last post have no reason to be removed right(hahahahahaha yeah right!)?
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE????????????????????????
What's the betting FACTS ignores the question again kids??(HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!) You are exposing yourself every time you post!!! - ? replies to FactsI contacted HMRC as you suggested. Guess what?! They do not divulge information regardless of the complaint! I expressed they should check TAPA and I was almost scoffed at! You are a PRAT! Do you actually research by speaking to people or just sit transfixed to your PC all day everyday?
If yoou have a genuine complaint where TAPA has taken money they shouldn't, sent a request for monies for services not requested or any other general scam then contact and report it to:
www.actionfraud.police.uk/
FACTS, you really are a knucklehead!
When I see this nonsense an article I read last year and the opening text just sits perfectly:
"POLICE have "lost the battle" with internet fraud and the cyber scam investigation system needs to be overhauled, the Internet Fraud Watchdog (IFW) says."
Never a truer word written! - JuliaThe spam and off topic messages have been removed from this thread.
Thank you for the alerts! - ? replies to FactsC'mon FACTS . . . . where's the snappy response? You got that crime number yet? Are you going to explain your experience with TAPA?
- Jack.simpson58rubsdivewholesale.com| 4 repliesA very good friend of mine recommended Tapa so i employed their services last year, and ever since they are always very helpful on the phone, they had an open day at their posh office back in Mid-December. It was an absolute bargain at 50 pounds a ticket with Christmas dinner, it was very exciting meeting all people and their different important roles in the office, not at all as I imagined it to be, they explained how they do some very good work for lots of different charities. I will never terminate my subscription over a lot of silly gossip, One thing negative i can say is that unfortunatly I still get the odd double glazing and ppi call, but after I type the number in the little box they issued me with for my phone it blocks it once stored in its memory, as the engineer shown me, it is a bit high tech for me., Nevertheless it is still frustrating, has anyone else experenced this?
- ? replies to Jack.simpson58rubsdivewholesale.com| 3 repliesReally?
So, what address did you go to? - ? replies to ?| 2 repliesWhy is it the conversation seem's to really dry-up when extremely relevant questions are asked?
We've established TAPA doesn't work for some and that many feel as strongly to suggest they are a scam.
Nan, Phil142, LizzieM and others expressed their concerns/thoughts/feelings off experience as do I.
FACTS, where are you? You still not told us all your experience and reason for being such a kn*b! 'Reveal' inside info about TAPA (disgruntled ex-employee maybe?) but scarper when under the spotlight. Is it because I have not rolled over after your fickle attempts at bullying started? Tw*t!!
"Jack.simpson58rubsdivewholesale.com" (which I assume was meant to be an attempt to look genuine? Bad move, no web address or search on you finds anything!), where did you go when you attended this 'christmas dinner'? The way I see it you are a definate bu**shi**er as TAPA go a long way to hide so why would they invite all and sundry in to their lair? - ? replies to ?| 1 replyStill oh so quiet?!?!
- Rene Stella Atois replies to ?I hope every person gets conned out of every penny they have, I love a good con me it's great. I want a rebuttal exchanged to me to make me feel terrible and gulty then I will laugh and laugh. Also bear in mind tapa have conned me too.And I find the helpless of the victims of tapa beyond amusing. Tapa is snake oil and I love it.
- scambuster replies to Scrooge| 1 replyI agree - this is a scam. It's the same address as where many of the fake online advertising services come from.
They call you telling you that they want to check key words on your account. You tell them you have no account but they are very convincing about all the details. They then ask if you want to cancel. If you say yes they pass you to the 'cancellation department' who then take you credit card number and expiry date which they tell you is needed to cancel. At this point they tell you the service is cancelled and take a payment and set you up on their system. They then have a convincing invoice with all the details to make it look genuine.
NEVER give out the card number and expiry date.
