Where's the evidence for your claim of TAPA committing crimes? What Police force is dealing with the investigation? Which Trading Standards office has a current investigation? There is plenty of info about court cases against the person behind this site, which mostly get dropped by the complainant as she wangles free legal cover many simply can't afford to take action as they are having to pay! FACT!

I don't like that TAPA profiteer from the fact people get scammed as much as I don't like the fact ADT profiteer from criminals the police should stop. At the same time I am mesmerised that you slander everybody yet think it's acceptable?! If this so called Simister guy is CURRENTLY committing a crime (not previous misdemeanors as you have clearly exposed) then what is it?

As with my previous post, you are a b**lsh***er as much as TAPA and this site. Get a life and go to the police, report the crime TAPA has committed and post the crime reference number and Police station that is dealing with it. As yet you have not stated how they have 'scammed' you! This only fuels the fires of suspicion that your motive is not entirely genuine!

I joined, thought it was crap and cancelled. Never paid a penny as was dubious due to scams. That's my beef! You seem very upset about my questions regarding this site, why? Do you not champion exposing people that operate in less than genuine circumstances? Why so defensive of this site? I contacted HMRC as you suggested. Guess what?! They do not divulge information regardless of the complaint! I expressed they should check TAPA and I was almost scoffed at! You are a PRAT! Do you actually research by speaking to people or just sit transfixed to your PC all day everyday?

C'mon FACTS . . . . where's the snappy response? You got that crime number yet? Are you going to explain your experience with TAPA?

A very good friend of mine recommended Tapa so i employed their services last year, and ever since they are always very helpful on the phone, they had an open day at their posh office back in Mid-December. It was an absolute bargain at 50 pounds a ticket with Christmas dinner, it was very exciting meeting all people and their different important roles in the office, not at all as I imagined it to be, they explained how they do some very good work for lots of different charities. I will never terminate my subscription over a lot of silly gossip, One thing negative i can say is that unfortunatly I still get the odd double glazing and ppi call, but after I  type the number in the little box they issued me with for my phone it blocks it once stored in its memory, as the engineer shown me, it is a bit high tech for me., Nevertheless it is still frustrating, has anyone else experenced this?

We've established TAPA doesn't work for some and that many feel as strongly to suggest they are a scam.

I hope every person gets conned out of every penny they have, I love a good con me it's great. I want a rebuttal exchanged to me to make me feel terrible and gulty then I will laugh and laugh. I agree - this is a scam.  It's the same address as where many of the fake online advertising services come from.
They call you telling you that they want to check key words on your account.  You tell them you have no account but they are very convincing about all the details.  They then ask if you want to cancel.  If you say yes they pass you to the 'cancellation department' who then take you credit card number and expiry date which they tell you is needed to cancel.  At this point they tell you the service is cancelled and take a payment and set you up on their system.  They then have a convincing invoice with all the details to make it look genuine.  
NEVER give out the card number and expiry date.

If you are stupid enough to fall for that you deserve all you get! I mean, who the hell would fall for giving card details to cancel an account they never had?? Imbecile!

TAPA are rats, they have just taken money out of my account, I thought they had closed shop, as they stopped taking payments back in march 2012 from me for a poor service, and then all of a sudden they have took a payment from my card.

Can you post your old client number and I will call and pretend to be you to get to the bottom of it? One must assume that if you don't have 1 you are another scammer?!

Money taken from account without permission. Contact said he would have to speak to Chief Executive, but when I asked his name he couldn't tell me!! [***]!

came across this today and thought I had better add something to it.
I was being sued by an advertising company abroad for £4000 euros, because one of my employees signed a  " free advertisement " in the European city guide, confirming our company details, however in the small print it said that we had agreed to advertise in the next edition which was 656 euro per advert.
I wont bore you with the full details, but this went on before the birth of TAPA.
I joined them because I was sick of the crap calls, but having spoken to them I sent all the details of this case to them.
they took all the stress away from me with this pending court case and actually ended up getting this European guide company closed down, and the bills stopped coming.!!
whilst I agree with the guy slating them on some points, ie shite calls then a call from them a few weeks later, (could just be coincidence) the FACTS are:
I VERY rarely get junk calls anymore- (been a member for 4 years)
I COULD have paid out £4000k to avoid a COUNTY COURT JUDGEMENT, but TAPA got me out of the shite.
I don't think I am being ripped off by them (too long in the tooth for that), and I can confirm that when I get the odd crap call I just mention their name and I either get slammed or they apologise and go away!
they cant control all the junk calls to you so I think you have to take an open minded look and decide for yourself! (hardly asking you for thousands for the service are they ?)

I am in the same boat as you Steve. some company from Liverpool sent my wife 2 bills for 300 quid each and reduced her to tears saying she sponsored adverts. I know she didn't do it. We joined TAPA after one of their reps rang us We didn't even know they existed till they called and that was October and the firm has left us alone since. they might come back again but so far so good. the only thing that gets on my wick about TAPA is when they ring to assist me they waffle on for ages which can be a bit annoying
