I tried to use there online chat but when i asked the question "Whey dont you show your costs other than the terms...." they hung up.

I am going to say something in their support. I looked them up before registering with TAPA but saw details of their charges straight away and did not even start to register. I have just looked again and there is a clear question and answers section which states their charge.

I've just reported 5 0r 6 posts on the Satlite thread made under the names of LizzieM and Katy. Needless to say, they were not posted by me - and I'm sure they were not posted by Katy either.Just low-lifes trying to shut us down I imagine

I completed the online form on thier website but never got as far as inputting payment details. I can`t even remember if it asked for payment details. Thats why I was so shocked when the man who called me said I`d agreed to the terms and conditions therefore owed them money. I would never agree to something before I knew the cost! When I said to him that their website was misleading he said " how dare you". Thats when I started suspecting something odd. A genuine company would never talk to customers like that!

Just let them try to take me to court.........

pam64: I looked at their site again just after they rang me. I entered a fictional person with a fictional address. They don't ask for payment on the form but you do have to tick a box to say that you abide with the regulations to proceed. However you are allowed a 7 day cooling off period after seeing the full text of the contract and you don't get that until it arrives by post. With mine they carefully ensured that it did not arrive for 10 days after I completed the form.

Snap! By the time you receive the info pack it is past the 7 days cooling off period. Told the chap who rang I couldn`t afford to pay anyway............today I got a phone call from Moneysolve. I think I could see a pattern developing here!

pam64: Except that the cooling off period is supposed to start from the date when you have access to the 'permanent' printed documents, not online text (in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulation".  What did Moneysolve say? I haven't heard of them.

I wasn`t in so they left a message. Actually quite polite. Saying to ring back whether I needed their services or not so they could remove me from their database if I no longer have a problem.

Wonder what their interest rate is....and wonder if the MD is called Chris Irvine, or Anthony Simister???? I've been out most of the day, and I've found 3 missed calls on the landline - number withheld. Doesn't that just drive you mad??

Don't think they have tried to ring me today so maybe your calls are from someone else? When he has rung me, the number has not been withheld.
