they keep calling and blocking up my voicemail by not leaving messages and hanging up.

I got a phone call earlier on and they asked for directly by my first name and my partner said who is this.... they said who it is and he said no... she was adamint to speak to me so he hung up!

why do i have to bother wasting my time, clogging up the phone line when I am expecting important news!!!

Just had first call off them tonight, hung up when I answered the phone. Can someone please tell me why they do this as surly it is costing them money to make the call in the first place ?

"hello I can calling on behalf of The Halifax".  "as a valued Halifax customer we would like to offer you thus service"

second call i've had from this number, first claimed to be first assist halifax and the second i couldn't make out what they were saying. very irritating.

These guys claiming to be First Assist calling on behalf of the Halifax call me almost everyday. This is despite answering the phone and placing it down next to a very loud radio playing some 70's psychedelic rock.

they asked me if i wanted to star in a gay porn movie

Just this minute had the same call and this girl said she was telephoning on behalf of the Halifax and I just said not interested, and she hung up I suggest if you get one of these calls ignore it.

I just missed the call, as it came through on an old mobile which I rarely use.
Are these guys calling on some sort of cycle? i seem to remember a spate of calls about 4 months ago, and about 4 months before THAT...!

Please make them stop. These calls should be made illegal.

Kept getting phonecalls to my mums house where I no longer live. Phoned the Halifax using the number on their website and they have no record of phone any number, and has no reason to phone me anyway.

Just got a call from this number. Nobody on the line.

Had this number call me tonight, let them talk away as wondered who it was they claimed to be halifax trying to sell me life insurance and asking personal questions about myself and what job i do. When asked for the last 4 digits of my card details i was alerted and said sorry dont have those with me at the moment the women said its ok i will hold thought bet u will hence why i hung up.

Just put them on hold, or put the phone down of the hook  and continue with your life guys and girls ,
pick it up in 30mins see if there still on the line ,ive had a few laugh's on there behalf.

Same as all the above... First Assist whateverthingy trying to sell accident insurance...

I've been called twice by them today with no one on the end. My brother picked up a call from them for me last week and I told them I was in the middle of family problems, they said they'd call back next week and I hung up.
In total I'd say I've been contacted 5 or 6 times though, getting pretty fed up.

i get at least 5 calls from this number everyday i have on many occasions said that i am not interested but they still call VERY ANNOYING if i wanted accident cover from the halifax i would call them and ask for it

1518hr today.  Female phoned an XD number asking for somebody I've never heard of.  Apologised and hung up before I managed to find out who it was.  Obviously a busy call centre from the background noise.
