Keep getting calls from this number. They claim that they are the Halifax, but why would Halifax contact me through telephone????
BLATANTLY FRAUD!

this number has tried to call me 5 times in the last 4 working days. they never leave a message and i miss the call as i'm working at the time, never the less it's still annoying.

Got a call from this number. Someone asking my name and wanted to sail something, I was angry and cut the line.

Everyone who gets spam calls from any number should invest in the best little gadget ever called "True call". Its a little box that plugs into your phone and you can block calls from anyone so that your phone never even rings, so you do not have to keep getting up to answer it. It costs around £90 but is the best money you will ever spend if you are sick of nuisance calls. Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is a waste of time because they cannot do anything if you have EVER given your details to anyone who rings you whether you want their product/silent phone calls etc or not! This gadget cuts off anyone who annoys you (even friends/family can be blocked) simply by plugging in and then going online to set up your account with the allowed or blocked numbers. Its your choice of who you want to speak to! Go out and get it and tell all your friends and you will never be hassled by phone calls again:

PS I am not an employee or on commission. I am a disabled housewife who got so sick of at least 30 calls a day that my husband got this gadget and its so worth it.

I worked for this company, what I don't understand is why everyone is so grumpy and anal. The funniest is when you get asked where you got a number...like we know, my guess is somebody somewhere forgot to tick a box! The next best is I'm not interested. Since working on the outbound calls some years ago I realised that most of the country are ignorant, rude and seem to be generally unhappy, tell me I'm wrong? I've done the job! Next time you answer the phone maybe if you put some logic behind what you say then you my have a different outcome to the call, should we not treat others as we expect to be treated? We are people just trying to pay the bills like you. If you have such a hatred toward these calls then just talk to the agent, firstly take a note of their name! Request you do not receive anymore calls, if it continues ask to speak to a team leader and have the problem resolved, but remember take names. I am told that there is a company/authority out there that will permanently remove your details from data lists the world over this would be useful for all the people that forgot to tick those boxes at the bottom of pages, or who just keep saying yes when you buy things like car insurance or travel over the phone just to get off the phone, the IVR messages you listen to at the beginning of the calls state how your data could be used! And to all you out there that think its big and funny to be outright rude and offensive, it isn't really is it? If I saw you by the bar and you started talking to me and I just told you to F off or used any other form of offensive language ask yourself what you would do, also ask if that's how you people speak to every one, pretty worrying if it is!
