9 missed calls from this number today and loads more over the past few weeks. Today has been the worst. Bit disappointing to see that little can be done about these guys given that they're overseas

Like many of the above, I am unlisted and registered with TPS but still received a call on 08448466519 asking for my ex-wife by name, even though she has not lived here for 7 years. He said my number was on his database and when I told him to remove it and threatened legal recourse if he called again the phone went mysteriously dead!!!!!! This isn't the first time I have had a call from him but it had better be the last

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, claims to be Crystal Debt advice service, asked if i had unscured debts, how do they get ex-dir tel. no. ? Another website says that this is govt dept., did they call anyone else claiming benefits ?

Just had this number call me tonight at 2250hrs. didnt pick up as its late but dialled 1471. On looking at the above comments i'll not answer them. FCuking idiots.

Same number called at 11.45pm. This is the 3rd call I received from them where nobody speaks when I answer.  Each time I return the call it rings and then seems to be switched off. I've set it to automatically redial until its answered. Been doing it for last 10mins and will do it again when I'm up at 6am :D

Oh my God! Just got a missed call from this number, and it's midnight. What are these people doing?! Still no message left on the answer machine.

Just had the 3rd call in 3 days from this number, the last one at midnight!!!!!  No-one speaks they just hang up.  It shouldn't be allowed, you always think something awful has happened when you get a call so late at night.

After reading all the comments here I'm wondering if they only have my husbands details so hang up when they hear a woman's voice.  Hubby works away during the week as a policeman which is why it is so frightening to receive a call so late at night because I assume something awful has happened to him.  I'm hoping they will call back when he is home so he can answer and tell them it's the wrong number without confirming his name, long shot but worth a try!  Can't believe they have been so abusive to people.  Loved the post about owing someone £3.15 for a can of Tennants Super and some chilli doritos :-)

Addition to last, have just changed my answerphone message to "Hello, we are not taking calls at the moment due to the fact that we have been receiving nuisance calls from an identity theft organisation, you know who you are Crystal Debt Advisory Service, if you know us please try our mobile numbers or leave a message".  Will report progress as and when.  Good night all.

03.38 am and the phone rings, its these clowns, no one on the other end either, ffs they woke the entire house up, not at all happy, i think if this happens again we will start unplugging the phones at night

its 6.38 am in the morning i just had a call from these idiots at 6.22am, they woke me and my family up. not happy at all .would love to know where they have had my number from as im a financial advisor, i wouldnt be in a job if i was needing an IVA

Recieved a call from this number at 3.30 am this morning.

this company are ringing all the time even 3 in the morning.Ihave spoke to them on previous times and told them i not interested but they still keep ringing back, when will this stop.My number is witheld so where do they get my number from and being part of TPS doesn't seem to make ny difference, help me now please.

Have missed calls from this number on several occasions, last one being 03.40 am , who would be calling at that time ? i have a baby in the house and would be glad of any advice on how to stop these calls as my phone provider is useless and i am already registered with TPS.

Capital Finance in Leicester, phone number 0870 2024000. Have checked this number and it IS answered by Capital Finance.
Spoke to a supervisor called Francis who promised to have my name removed and who I could contact if I had any further problems.

I went through the same procedure some months ago with the Debt Advisory Line (more Indians) and have since not received any calls from them. Good luck!

He called me 10 mins ago and I asked him to type this number 08448466519 into Google and to see how many people he has been bothering - he went silent.

Maybe that is a means to an end?  or maybe not.

This lot rang us at 05.15am!.Can you believe it. We thiught a family member was seriously ill or something!
