If you cared to read my bit properly you will have seen it was a more balanced spiel. You were obviously much better at selling cars than you cared to be at selling food products. Cars were probably your niche market. And what you learned from DSD will more than likely make you an even more accomplished sales person than you already were.You obviously have seen a very negative side of DSD that I didn't. I was not being abusive to you and I care to be treated as such in much the same as I am being honourable to you. As it is, I didn't follow what you were actually saying as your grammar doesn't help me understand your last bit. Forgive me, I do struggle with the texting society we live in too so its probably all me being daft. But I think you were disputing something I probably didn't say.

i apologise to you, but my view of dsd is not biased i did see relabeling they do owe me money, and they lie at interviews i have been through the process. it is a self employed position with the worst sales process i have ever seen, i train sales staff nationally, it was embarrassing working in cumbernauld, they dont care about the guys who work there some guys have stuck it for years good luck to them, as for working hard, i knock in 60 to 70 hrs per week just now so i do know what hard work is.

same as jeffrey really,after reading 4 pages of mostly adverse comments won't be attending the interview in the morning,glad I decided to do some research.Just saved a waste of time 70 mile round trip by the looks of things.

I have been a customer of Dinings for about 6 years now, I used to buy from a lovely chap called Chris who left I believe to spend more time fishing and with his young family, I now buy from a gentleman called Roger who comes by every so often or when I telephone. I am most shocked by these comments as I have found the food fantastic and the sales gentleman charming. I live on my own so it is nice to have someone to chat too as well when looking at the food. I think this site is very unfair on people like Roger and Chris and all the others who im sure are just as lovely and respectful

I would like to post this comment to explain and put the record straight regarding the negative and defamatory postings which have been made on this forum.  I believe some of these negative and defamatory postings are being made by our competitors and ex distributors (some of whom are now working for our competitors). They have created this smear campaign to try and discredit Dining Solutions Direct.
It is correct that we have changed our holding company name to DSD Food Group however the VAT number and Companies House number remains the same.  We have changed the holding company name as our group has grown by approximately 800% in the last ten years. We use our other brands for contract packaging, bespoke product development and we have also undertaken in several large television projects – we wish each brand to represent their market speciality.
With regards to the recruitment adverts that we place for distributors for Dining Solutions Direct, there seems to be some mixed comments / confusion on this site on how the position works.  We offer 3 different options for our new recruits. Option 1: The distributor can use their own vehicle. Option 2: The distributor can hire a vehicle from us and work on a high commission and large bonus structure. Option 3: We can supply a vehicle to the distributor with no charge and work on a lower commission and large bonus structure. With options 2 & 3, where we supply the distributor with a vehicle we have to charge a deposit of £199, this is industry standard when hiring vehicles.

DSD Food Group is not only fully Haccap compliant we are level 5 registered and we are an independently audited company probably the only home delivery company to do so.

i can assure you it is not a scam yes i admit it all comes across that way but i have been with them a week and have already taken home £400 and i have a van i can use as my own :)

Im a customer of Dining and will continue to be one for as long I can imagine. I think the food is fantastic along with the service, my sister also uses dining and loves it. We each buy several boxes through the year.
Iv never had any problems with the man who delivers or the food, the delivery man is very helpful and chatty. Well done dining for such great food.

I was about to go for an interview on the 19/05/2011 with Dining solutions. I called the number out of my local newspaper (Chase Post) on: 01460 430003

I stumbled on to this site by chance when i typed it into google, needless to say im very happy i did and im definatley not going to the interview, thanks guys!!!

Dining Solutions are definitely a legit company, but they have a high turnover in drivers as the drivers realise that DSD pay very poorly compared with their competitors.... I used to work for one of their rivals, indeed hired quite a few of their drivers...lol.....Anyhoos, for those attending interviews, you'd be much better off (literately) going independent and earn a lot more money...I've my own van now, buy my stock from the same suppliers as DSD and am able to thus undercut them by upto £15 per box of produce and still make more money than any DSD driver...I do still cold call, but never the hard sell, never to vunerable people, and TBH sell more to regular customers and customer recommendations

I would add though that their quality of produce is excellent, as I source from similar or the same suppliers

No problem, I will explain though if this was a genuine request and not a smear again you would reply to my personal email and not on a forum,the reason why some of those companies have been dissolved is because we have never traded with them if you purchase the accounts this will be verified,I have gone into business with various partners and through previous workloads and commitments its not always possible to give the business the time and attention it deserves therefore its sometimes better to close it than leave it dormant,I hope the lack of juicy gossip had disappointed you, once again the proof of competitors smear campaign is evident,now not trying to dis-credit dining solutions direct - now trying to discredit myself.

Have to 100% agree with everyone saying that they con/scam you into working for them. Went to an interview followed by two days training and it was a complete waste of time. They told me all i had to pay for was the diesel for the vans, failing to mention the £120 van rental each week as well as the food from the company!!! You're looking at having to pay over £1000 pounds a month before you've even started. £35,000 is a total joke. you would have to work every hour of every day to earn anywhere near that. On top of all this, people dont buy stuff off the back of a van. Please dont waste your time even with an interview. ABSOLUTE CON

once again complete rubbish, YOU DO NOT PAY FOR A VAN IF YOU GO ON STANDARD COMMISSION STRUCTURE or use  your own vehicle if you want to go on high commission structure you can rent a van but then you are earning £250-£400  per week more and renting a van at £120. Are people really this stupid or is this AGAIN our competitors trying to put the boot in.The work OPTION means you have choices, once again if you dont want to pay van rental you dont have to, but then you will be on a lower commission, i hope thats educated the people who are a little slow, once again any GENUINE issues your welcome to contact me (STILL NOT ONE YET!) .

REF £35,000 pa earning you need a calculator, you can earn £127500 per annum in our group,for working 12 hours a day. If you expect to work 2-3 hours a day for £35,000 your confused if you want to work 3 hours a day or not work (more likely) why not work at mcdonalds and least you will get free fries, remember you only get out what you put in in any business (change your name from con dodger to work dodger)
