Thankfully googling this time gave me page one of this thread so I've done the internet opt out.
If this doesn't work I'll be looking into further action as I've had enough of this garbage.

I allowed the answerphone to take the call and after listening for 10 secs pressed 'STOP' .. easy, but why should it be necessary

I have a caller i.d. and don't answer number with-held, number unavailable or international. Normally don't answer 0845 numbers either but I was waiting for an urgent call from the hospital. These people are a pain in the petunias so I tried opt-out - no good. I thought I would get my solicitor (my brother) to contact a director of the company directly. There are none shown as resident in UK.

Another unwanted call.  Curved Air get a grip, I will never be a customer.

I work from home and I have a business line as well as my personal line. My personal line used to be plagued with nuisance calls to the point I now have a TrueCall unit on it (and very effective it is too!).

Bit impractical to do this on a business line though, but as this isn't publicised anywhere, I have never had any nuisance calls on it. Until this company's wreched IVR system called me today. Could I get rid of the call? No - it tied up my business line for more than 5 minutes and every time I picked the receiver up to try and make an important phone call, their b*stard system was still there "surveying" me.

To anyone think of using this company:  bear in mind they operate a totally indiscriminate IVR platform which is going to annoy the hell out of people. It is the very WORST of its type I have encountered, and being associated with them will damage YOUR business.

I am ex directory and dont give my number out and these low lifes rang me today I am on tps. Obviously companies like this think they are a law upon themselves hope they go bust.

Sick & Tired of constanty calls all day long, this number included, withheld and unavialble calls up to 25 times a day. Obviously its just companys that cant get any decent business so they just ring random numbers in the hope they can trick some old lady. GET A REAL JOB AND LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE!!!

Just got a phone call from these people today.  We are not long moved in and we took out a Virgin phone line a week ago, while also being ex-directory and registered with the TPS (it already was when I tried to register so I have no idea how long this number has been registered for).

I tried to hang up on them and dial 1471 to get the number, I had to wait about 5 minutes as even when I hung up, the call was still going?  How is this possible? I hung up on the call about 4 times before I could dial 1471.  Absolutely disgusting especially as it's tying up my phone line and I'm waiting on an important phone call! Get the message Curved Air - if someone hangs up on you, it means they don't want to talk to you!!!!  Pretty simple logic no?  Sort it out you vile company!

I will also be writing to the MP to state my opinion that this loophole on so called Marketing calls needs closing.

Well u got no chance me Answering my Landline  and especially at 8.45am and im ex direc so get lost mithering toads  ... Lol & i wont be so polite if i answer .....get yaselfs some charity work do something worth while   ;-)

why should we have to phone a number to opt out when we NEVER asked to be placed on your list in the first place - "the oh we don't intentionally mean to harras.,...." then stop the bloody nuisance calls then..........

I am highly amused to discover that you have just called my recruiting mailbox number! you can go right ahead & call it as often as you like, it is just an answering service! part of a system with several 1000's of other similar mailbox numbers, I hope you randomly generate all of those numbers too!
i really think its time you people realised that you are not wanted or even needed by the general public!

this shows that they are using random number generators because this number has never been attached to a name & address.

THESE MORONS CALL ME EVERY DAY ,THEY DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE SAME AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE I SCREEN ALL INCOMING CALLS ,USING CALLER ID.I WILL NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE IF THEY DO NOT SPEAK TO MY ANSWERING MACHINE.IF I COULD FIND OUT WHERE THEIR CALL CENTRE IS I WOULD BOMB THE  PLACE,I HATE THESE STUPID IDIOTS.

I've had three calls from this number in less than a week and they always seem to ring when I am eating or preparing my evening meal! I refuse to answer the phone at this time of night now!

Like all of you I too have been called and let it go to answer phone. I'm on maternity so for the first time have noticed the rediculous number of calls coming to my ex-directory, TPS registered number . What I don't know is whether this is normal or a recent change. I'm also getting unsolicited calls on my mobile which is recent. This makes me think it could be Bounty the baby freebie people who have flogged my info. Not happy.

There must be some kind of law about telephone harassment surely? If a person constantly phones his/hers ex partner he/she can be changed with harassment so why cant these cold callers?
If people look up the definition of harassment you will find that it means "To irritate or torment persistently, a feeling of intense annoyance caused by being tormented" well i'm been tormented and give me a feeling of intense annoyance so surely these cold callers are breaking the law so why don't the government crack down on these jerks?

I keep getting calls from this number and have only once answered it was a recorded message, I kept putting the phone down but each time I picked it up the message was still going, because I did not answered any of the questions eventually the message ended.
