Got many, many calls from these idiots asking me about all sorts of things from condom/femidom usage, to how sensitive is my clitoris. One Indian-sounding person asked me what I was wearing and could I take it off for him. Number now blocked and reported to relevant authorities.

They are selling "marital aids" and asking obscene questions. DO NOT believe that they are market research, they are infidels and liars. Perverts.

normally i unplug my phone but i had it on and this number called. Obviously i did not answer i dialled 1471! Who or whatever they are i am not interested! Fcuk off!

I just had a call from this number. I ran down from the garden because I was actually expecting a call but the 'phone only rang a few times. Sorry to anyone employed by this industry but I think these people are the lowest of the low.
And exactly how DO they get an ex directory phone number? Are they sold on by companies we do business with?
The other thing is that when I retired,  the calls virtually disappeared. As if I became a less attractive proposition because I had reached a certain age/was no longer an earner. Coincidence? I don't think so.  So somewhere they are also getting d.o.b or employment info.

They got my ansafone, and when I picked up the message, there was an automated voice asking if my family had taken more notice lately of our enegry usage, press 1 for yes and 2 for no. The question was repeated, they they gave up. Talk about a Nuisance Call!

Same here - I'm also disabled, so getting up to answer the phone is a literal pain! Not to mention, if the phone rings, my anxiety levels go through the roof, as I have telephone phobia. :-(

I'd really like to know where they got our number, as we don't give it out anywhere, we always give my husband's mobile number if we absolutely have to give one at all, due to me not being able to get to the phone readily.

If you phone the number back they give an option (9) to opt out. they will then tell you that you have successfuly opted out - However, I have a call blocker and that number was on it & they still got through!! If you don't get a further post from me then you will know they are true to their word. Possibly.

I don't normally leave my phone connected I dialed 1471 after this number called today, like they did a few days ago. They can call all they f'kin like i aint answering their scams!

Yet another automated message blocking up my answer phone.  I've used their online opt out process to remove my number and made a note of the date in my online calendar.  Next time they call, I'll report them to the ICO.

I never answer ANY call if I don't recognise the number, it's withheld or ID is not available.  My brother, who is ex-directory knows this and will call from his mobile.  Sometimes, if I'm in and feeling annoyed at all the calls, I just answer and hang up immediately.  

Anyone who rings me should be ringing for a purpose.  If they want to speak to me, they can leave a message.  If they don't leave a message, they clearly have no reason to call.  Any businesses I deal with have an email address for me, so when they give me all the guff about "we're not allowed to leave a message because of data protection", I just tell them to contact me by email and stop calling during the day when I'm out.

Join the other 126 crappy callers I never invited to call me on my black list.

I'm utterly sick of all these kinds of callers. Although I am ex-directory and registered with TPS I still receive an inordinate amount of invasive calls. It's got to the point where I just don't answer the phone at all anymore - my own telephone in my own home! Why can't they just leave me the hell alone

We get plagued by these calls ( from 08450 304416) at all hours of the day and night - BT have told me that because its a recorded message and not an actual person making the call that the recorded message has to be licenced by "The Office of the Information Commissioner".

You should complain to The Information Commissioner on 0303 123 1113 and hopefully these pernicious pests will have their licence withdrawn

This number rang me and I couldn't disconnect until the full automated message finished. It asked me to press '9' etc. I will not press anything from an automated message. I am ex-directory and registered with the TPS.

We have not signed up for any surveys nor have we ticked the box to hear from interested parties yet since the death of my mother last year my father has been deluged with these kind of nuisance calls. Evidentially someone did sell our number on in that period and now an elderly man with limited mobility is receiving two or three of these nuisance calls every day and more worryingly for us is no longer bothering to answer the phone as he thinks it will just be another one of these automated calls. I have just had  to remove a Curved Air Marketing Solutions from his answer-phone, which went on for several minutes due to your poorly thought out system. I do not appreciate this and I hope you realise the kind of misery, stress and nuisance you are causing people.

I don't know how these idiots can make any money calling people at home. Does anybody actually use their landline for anything other than internet access these days? I don't even have a phone attached to my home line. I just called 1571 today for the first time in about 18 months (had to find a phone to attach before I could do so!) and found an ancient message left by these cretins. Unbelievable that anyone would bother with an activity that is clearly such a waste of their time.

"Pressing 9 adds your number to the stop list and you will receive no further calls from us"

Bull****! I pressed 9 last night and I received another call this morning - a call which did not terminate when I hung up, your parasitic computer held up my phone line for at least 5 minutes with it's automated message. Incidentally, I pressed 9 again this morning, and rather than the "sorry for the inconvenience" message I got last night, your machine proceeded to spout off it's survey spool.

I am off now to file complaints with the relevant authorities. Perhaps then, Mr William Duncan Taylor, your horrid little company will be shut down and you locked in a cell with a phone that rings every five minutes with surveys, telemarketing and telesales calls. Lets see how you like it you leech!
