Three calls today - fortunately we have caller ID, as the Preferential Services never works now. I've also filled up the caller barred facility on our phone, so this one just keeps on calling.....

Called today, asked for me by name, I hung up.

Called today, and has called previously, at 10.30. Have previously told them not interested in what they wanted to offer.  Fed up now, will be looking for a phone with a blocking device soon!

They phoned today about 3pm. Said they were Insure for retirement but when I told them about the other phone call, about solar installation, the caller informed me that no-one there sells solar panels.  Complained and told them that if I receive another call from this number I will report them.  

Caller said he would log the fact that I wanted no m ore calls from them, so wait and see how that pans out.

He also told me that they were based in Bournmouth?

Another timewaster, who did not leave a message.

Insure4retirement have a freephone number to call them back on to get your details cancelled - this will cost them time and money so call them on 0800 2988707.  I think they are buying a list from pension providers like Standard Life.

Has called 8 times in 36 hrs,I haven't answered,ever since I went on line to Moneysupermarket for buildings/contents insurance quote.Very annoying couple with all the other withheld/unavailabe/international I have tp put up with.

I am getting this call from unknown caller.i would like to block it. thanks

I work for i4r. Vernons now called The New Football Pools sell the details that you have given permission with a tick box to i4r to give you a quote in their behalf. More than likely would have saved you money too. This is a legitimate company and it is very frustrating as an employee when people tickbox away their details and then complain they are getting calls which they gave permission for by doing so.
Read small print and you won't get called, simple.

More annoyingly the Internet only has negative reviews because noone goes online to say good things only complain! It's like the news, mother makes it home from work alive wont be a headline but mother in car crash would.

Put simply they probably came up as top result in money supermarket.
When that happens they phone to reconfirm details and see if you'll buy it. And of course they will they are running a business and you put your telephone number into quote for this reason!

Seriously? Would you people want an answer phone message every few hours from insurance companies? It's why the regulations in the industry do not allow for it. No fca registered company can legally leave a message. Have a quote worst thing tha happen is you find ou you already have a better deal whoop de doo!!

just had a call from this number, went through a home insurance quote, with several
possible add on's  then asked about criminal convictions, said I didn't want to go into details
then she said will ring back in 2 weeks with same details, to complete the quote.
sounded very pushy, this morning, 10 am, and call lasted about 30 mins. Decided I
didn't trust them after all that, so looked up the number and found these comments.....
They were either legitimately looking for a competitive quote on insurance renewal
in November, or just gathering information for other purposes.

Sick of getting calls from this number.  We are ex-directory.  However, it seems there is no point to that these days since if you purchase anything online or even go online to look for comparisons, you can't do anything without leaving a telephone contact number.  These firms are cashing in on this.  They had to get our number from somewhere and I certainly didn't give it to them in person.  Even though we have caller ID, we HAVE to answer our 'phone if the number is withheld or unavailable as we have a very elderly sick relative and it might be someone on a withheld mobile number trying to contact us about her.
