    too I'll to use phone. message on answerphone asks callers to write. this company calls every day at 8 - 9 pm. the caller listens to my message then hangs up. drives me mad. this company even preys on vulnerable disabled people! disfgusting. I am registered with tps too.

    just called me at 8.40 pm might be legal but not acceptable as my husband was in bed asleep being a lorry driver who has to get up at 2,30 in the morning. i am registered with TPS so told the caller that they should not be calling me. he got my house number wrong but would not tell me where they got my details from

    Loads of calls from this number to my mobile. No message is ever left.
    I asked weeks ago for them to stop.
    I phoned them after yet another 4 calls today. They said they were 'Nationwide Energy Services' but refused to give me their address. I was asking too many questions apparently.
    'Matthew' [spoken to @ 4.30p.m.]  also said he couldn't see my number at his end and then seemed to have great difficulty in hearing me giving him my number so that it could be taken off their data-base.

    If I ever  need any  "Energy Services'   I would never use them after this.

    I, too have been getting these calls every day for the last few months.Sometimes it's an 0845 number, but very often it's international. It is getting beyond a joke now. I have asked politely for them to take my number off their database, but they just keep ringing me. I am also on the TPS, but wonder if there is any point  being part of it.

    To top it all, I had a knock at the door yesterday, it was someone trying to persuade me in person to have loft insulation. Is there no end to these nuisance calls? How much longer is the government grant available for? Hopefully when it runs out, these calls will stop.

    The calls have been going on for some time now - 8.45 and throughout the day.  Mostly no reply, sometimes background noise.

    I am TPS reegistered.  I will be taking this up with my MP as this type of behaviour by any company is unacceptable and must stop.

    I've taken to spamming their website contact us e-mail facility with loads of fake enquiries. I leave their number!! Gives me pleasure to know that even though they may not be thick enough to call themselves (although I have my doubts) their times will at least be wasted reading my bogus leads/enquiries. I suggest each time they call firing off a few fake e-mail address and tel no enquiries to them. Nationwide Energy Services. Google them and you'll find the site. They're based in Swansea. Have fun!

    8.55am on Good Friday and I get another call. Sick of it. She wouldn't tell me where she got my details from and "its not against the law to call you at this time". Lets just say she didn't get a warm reception!

    this firm uses multiple numbers and is a real pain...won't take no for an answer

    They refuse to accept that TPS can stop them...its true they can't.  they can only request firms do not call you.

    I have compalined to regulator about malicious and nuicance calls ..  did you know its actually a criminal offence to make some types of calls ...but... Ofcom can't/wont act  says its outsourced to TPS, TPS cant act as firms hide true identities .. they have no powers to investigate so its down to Ombudsman ... who can't/won't act for same reason!

    Telephone service providers will not act to block these in many cases (BT?) - if they do, its at a small fortune and a very limited number of callers... BT Choose to refuse is a maximum of 10 numbers!

    MP's are not interested in acting - just try contacting Keith Vaz MP on subject (he is the minister responsible)  better still get all these nuicance cals re-directed to him see how he likes it.

    Only answer is to spend a fortune of our hard earned cash on a machine such as "Truecall" to stop them.

    they called me today same old same old...loved the bit when i said oooo do you do that for caravans cos thats what i live in!!!! the stupid cow at the end of the phone soon hung up hehehe x

    Lady said she was from the UK Grants Commision. Asking if I had a grant for  insulation. I said I dont do business over the phone. She said its ok I'm not asking questions just updating our records, have you had a grant for insulation?. I said I dont do business over the phone. She said I'd just get another phone call later (since they had'nt got the info they wanted). I'm TPS Registered. They phone me again, I'll report them.

    Hi. I am getting these calls thick and fast, but the main problem is after a good hour or so after I havent answered, thanks to caller display, I cant use my phone!!!!!!! Its as if someone is on the line, when they are not, and it completely detroys my service. I got one at 8.03 this morning, its now 9.42 and I still have now dial tone. I am very angry about this, as it is becoming a daily thing, and I dont know what to do!!!

    Instead of posting messages on here I recommend that everyone who suffers from silent calls complains to Ofcom.
