I have also had 3 calls from this number and it is Eon. Last week was the 1st time they rang i told them i was tied into a contract till next year with my current energy supplier and the gentleman was polite and asked if it was ok to call back when my contract expired, the 3 hours later got another call from them but this guy didn't want to take no for an answer so i told i had to go as i was cooking dinner. Then this morning i get another call which i did not answer.

Said it was E-on but asked for a person who doesn't live here, so probably not E-on as we've an account with them.

Ironically, James Hinchliffe is a director of a now dissolved PPI company called PPI Advice LLP.

I could only find one email address and that is for another director called John Robinson. The email is john.robinson@voicegroup.co.uk. That email address was found of the FSA website where the company is authorized to deal in Investments.

they kept calling and calling but i didnt answer.
checked online, people saying they trying to get you to call back coz they earn money from every call recieved. some can come straight via ur bank account???? not sure but maybe x

Ive just received a call from this number, I answered and said hello 3 times to a lot of background noise and then they hung up...  Hopefully they will not ring back as I will not answer again considering the replies above! :)

This number 0845 155 0228 is just a pain in the @?>?@, we  get about 3 > 5 calls day. is this worth  informing the police on the grounds of harassment ?. who do they think they are, if this is Eon how is this legal , and is it ok to phone them and keep putting down the phone when they answer. Eon must notice that this action is turning away custom ?????????????

Eon have been making these calls since 2009 there must be some department within the government or perhaps elsewhere who can put a stop to this.  Thank you.

this number called me. when i picked up there was not one at the other end. when i called the number back, an automated voice said it was EON

Just had missed calls from them since two days ago, but reading these forums is not convincing me they're going to stop any time soon :/ I don't know how they bloody got my number either. This is ridiculous, after 3 years of comments and annoyances you'd think someone would have arrested these buggers already.

Guys, I may have an answer. Register with TPS. They put you on the register that makes it illegal for any companies to call you for marketing purposes. Keeps calling and no one there. Really starting to annoy me now

Got a call today from this number saying that I had won a competition I had entered with EON, or Tesco Club Card??  Said I had not, and asked who dealt with the electricity for the building at work.  It is leased and with that said thanks and hung up.

sick of these pests waking me up as i work nightshifts i dont even have my own place so why would i want eon to bloody phone me
