i have had 5+ calls from this number daily for the past week.  i have just rung Eon customer service to complain and ask them to remove my number to be told that the number is NOT an Eon number but 1 of the hoax companies claiming to be them!

Just had a call from this number - spoke to someone who was asking about any debt problems I might have...when i said I didn't they seemed a little disappointed!
But having read this just dawned on me - they did ask twice if I had any debts with energy suppliers..

Just called the number they said it was part of a marketing campaign by precision claims..and I can call 08450020782 and use their automated service to be removed from their mailing list - but I have to be aware I might miss some offers that might be of interest to me!
Just did it - don't know if it will do any good or not but worth a shot (automated service voice guy sounds a bit cross....not your normal fake-friendly sales call voice!)
I'm on TPS so surely I shouldn't have to do this...

This number calls my mobile regularly.  How can I stop it?  I just ignore it but they phone at the most inconvenient times.

Being called by this number on my mobile at least once a day. They hang up if I answer.
On reflection these and other numbers have started calling since I got a car insurance quote from Confused dot com. Coincidence? I think not.

Just had a call from this number, the guy had my name and said he was from Green Flag breakdown cover. He said their records showed that my policy was up for renewal, which it isn't and he asked me what is the correct month. He said they'll remove it from their list for this month.
I phoned the number back after reading this blog and a recorded voice said I was called as part of a marketing campaign by Green Flag so it looks like it was ligit and this number must be used for marketing purposes by various companies

Received a call on my mobile today and was told that they were calling from the marketing department of Green Flag motoring assistance.

Yet another unsolicited call, apparently from EON.  Thankfully did not answer it as I was at a funeral.

BT - Trying to find our how i found my BT Mobile  coverage etc - then asked if anyone else in the house had a mobile, asking about how often they used a phone, was trying to get me to get another mobile contract for the other person.
