Huge apologies for this issue - we fully appreciate how annoying this must be.

We received your email complaining that somebody hung up on you, but unfortunately there's no way for us to investigate further without knowing your phone number. None of our agents should ever hang up on an answered call (after all, our job is to speak to people) and we're keen both to understand what's gone wrong and to make sure that you're not bothered again.

Is there any chance you could contact us again directly and just let us know what number you were called on?

I want to know why TTMC claim they wanted to do a customer survey with me today based on an a form I completed on Tesco's website in the form of a message.  The called, from 0845 4500245, said they were TTMC and that Tesco had passed my information to them, ie: name and home telephone number... Tesco adamantly deny this stating they have no association with TTMC whatsoever, oddly enough the caller was unable to say what was in the message I sent to Tesco.  So, what's going on here, where did you obtain my information from?  How do you know I contacted Tesco via their own website form?  All rather disconcerting and I have suspicions that you will sell my details to other companies and I will be very pissed if that is the case.

just got a call from this number,they asked for my son by name,i asked who is calling and they said Jason from GBQR, i asked who GBQR were and got no reply...... so hung up

Its some annoyance connected to Carphone Warehouse.

Had this call today at work claiming to be Sector recruitment acency for apprentices - office based ones !!

Looks like the Carphone Warehouse are definitely involved with this somehow cos I've just upgraded!  Ar*eholes

Just rang me and I recently bought a new phone from CPW so it would make sense if it was someone associated with them, but who knows.  Couldn't unlock the phone in time, though.

I took a call on my landline. The caller said she was from a market research company and that the client was anonymous. I was asked if I would give 10 minutes to provide political opinion, which I was happy to do. Having been asked my age I was then asked what sector I worked in and replied "public sector". The researcher then told me she was not able to take opinion from public sector workers and terminated the call. Considering the size of the sector and the fact no personal information was requested I find this very odd and can only conclude this must be commissioned by the Conservative Party who don't want any honest feedback !!

just had a call from this number to my work land line they asked if we take payment via credit card-said no and they immediately hung up!!

Have had 4 calls from these today, 2 on my landline, 2 on my mobile. I`ve asked them to stop. One call to my landline the caller was virtually inaudible the line quality was so poor, suspect they use Voice Over IP so their calls cost them next to nothing.
They claim that they are conducting a survey, but the questions were very pro the Conservative Party. Lets see if they do delete me from their database, the guy the other night said that as they are doing research they are not bound by he TPS scheme, and wasn't sure if me getting fed up with them would be reason enough to delete me. I read somewhere that they also do 'surveys' for Carphone Warehouse.
Alternatively I may start giving the most stupid answers I can think of ( Who should be the next PM? - A giraffe as they can see further into the future) and see if I can get removed for giving info that doesn't fit their clients needs.

If you have a Samsung smartphone, go to call history, select their number, then click on the menu button to the left of the 'home' button, and select 'add to reject list'. In theory your handset shouldn't ring when they call. This feature may be available on other Android handsets too.  Alternatively I have an entry in my contacts of 'Don't answer', and I`ve added to that . When they call, my screen just says 'don't answer'.

This si the same number as 01273 765000 - Some outfit called Tallow Marketing....probably wanting to offer me an upgrade to a phone I upgraded 3 months ago!!!!!

This number calls every day - But leaves no message. If they do not stop - they will be reported to the police.

Silent calls are VERY DISTRESSING! THIS IS HARASSMENT!

These clowns are almost certainly the ones that have also been calling me on 08436849771.
If everyone simply put the handset down immediately they realised it was a nuisance call then these sort of companies simply couldn't stay in business - spread the word.
