I answered a call from this number, although the caller ID'd himself as Stuart from 'Embark', he would not give a reason for his call, as though I should be aware of 'Embark', and answer any questions he saw fit to ask. I asked him three times for the reason for his call, and he was evasive! In which case,  why call me? It's clearly a good idea to avoid such people.

Rang carphone warehouse yesterday to cancel my contract and now they start calling me. Just missed it so I rang back and got a recorded voice saying they were market research.

They foned my partner in sat after upgrading our fones she answerd and gave answers to a questionare and it charged her 33p

just had a missed call from this number so clicked on here . just got a new phone so presume its concerning that . will ignore it

I'm sure if enough people complain to the telecoms company that is provising this service, there will be some effect.

I just got a call from the same number 08452015152. A woman claiming to be from a company called Saber, going on with some nonsense talk about my employee who is signed up with the Ministry of Defence and she wants to confirm the information they have is correct.  As the director and only employee of my company and the child of a former Intelligence man, I told her exactly where to go and she went!  I called the number and surely, there was a message saying it was a Marketing company.  SAVE THIS NUMBER ON YOUR PHONE so you do not waste a moment of your time listening to their rubbish.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY  PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Got a call from this number and was going to ring back as I had been talking to 2 different 0845 numbers that day, and thought it was perhaps one of them trying to ring back. Then I noticed the time of their call preceded the ones I had made - so couldn't be them.  I also don't know how - whoever it is - got hold of my mobile.

Got a missed call at 14:53 from this number.

Missed call today then answered the second call guy said I should get my upcoming mot done with him then started asking me for my reg plate and insurance details! He didn't give me a name or company he said he was a local mechanic tho! I f*** off calling me an get a proper job!

i am receptionist for a company who has received calls from your organisation (which uses many names) and I tried to call this number and the response (automated) was 'This is a market researc company'. Please can you provide me and all your other victims with a usable number whereby we might ask to be removed.

Further more, I feel that your company is offer eg: Free NVQ's fraudulently as a way to obtain footholds into companies.  This just makes me more determined NOT to entertain your company, and it shows the companies your send your info to in a bad light. So far I have seen SEVEN different company names you act under and this makes me very suspicious.  I for one will not do business with the Carphone Warehouse if they are selling-on data for the purpose of harassing individuals.

Just got a missed call on my mobile, it didn't even ring. My assumption is that they either phone numerous numbers at the same time and cut the rest off when the first answers or expect you to call them back (curiosity killed the cat!)

I wouldn't worry that they've somehow got your number, they'll just start with 07710 etc. and keep phoning the next number until they get someone. Anyway, I wouldn't even bother talking to anyone who makes unsolicited calls, timewasters.

They just rang me and said they were from Tesco online and could i spare 10 minutes to do a survey. I said no i hadn't time. I don't trust them, they could have been anybody !!

leave a message. Like an earlier message, I have also just taken delivery of a new phone (and contract)
from CARPHONE WAREHOUSE!

Got a missed call from them on my Carphone Warehouse supplied phone.

If you've spoken to Carphone Warehouse recently (renew/upgrade etc) then you'll probably get a call from these guys. Carphone Warehouse are using them to get you to rate the customer service experience and the call handler you spoke to. Fine for them, but a bit inconvenient for the rest of us.

Well, Mr Legitimate, it's pretty obvious that everybody on this site finds people like you a damn nuisance and doesn't want to know, so why don't you crawl back under your rock.
