got a call from this number and missed it.
saw a comment on here saying its something to do with carphone warehouse and getting a new phone? i too have had my phone replaced recently.

This number keeps calling me - if they do i am going to answer and not speak to rack up their bill.

Just had a "missed call" from this number. My mobile only rang for around 5 seconds before it stopped ringing. I guess they do it hoping someone will ring them back out of curiosity... I didn't !
Reading the other posts, it could well be something to do with Carphone Warehouse, as I rang them a couple of days ago to enquire about an upgrade on my phone contract.

Just got a call from that number too.

I got a missed call from them too, though the number wasnt hidden. I got my phone from carphone warehouse fairly recently too. ive also had previous trouble with carphone warehouse not observing consumer rights.
Ive put the number in my contacts as DEATH :)

They told me their company was called GFI. I keep getting calls to my work phone from this number (08452015152) asking for "whoever deals with the mobile phones", "the person who deals with waste disposal" etc. Most of the time they ask for the managing director by name, even though he's not based in our office, this has never been his number and he actually left the company ages ago.

They can be aggressive and intimidating.

Yeah called claiming to be GFI too.
These guys are terrible on the phone though, not sure how that expect to get any information out of anybody.

Just got a call from them saying that I had contacted Carphone Wharehouse and asked for an upgrade to my phone. I hadn't, so I asked who the caller was and they replied that they were working on behalf of the Carphone Wharehouse and they were responding to my request. It turns out that they are a marketing company touting for business.

Just had a call from this number claiming to be from JS Humidifers (who happen to be one of our suppliers) asking to update details.  Sounded OK to start with, but then they starting rattling off almost every member of our company clarifying details!  

No details of any consequence given, but just to let you know that these people aren't who they say they are!

I had my contract last friday and missed a call from the 0845 15152 today. Thank you for the advice. I will be making a formal complaint as i also bought my contract from carphone warehouse!!

I got a call from this number and I'm ex-directory. I phoned the number and heard a voice say "Your through to a market research company" and I as I said Hello- they HUNG UP!!!

I really hate this as my phone only rang 3 times AND WHERE DID THEY GET MY NUMBER FROM?

And more to the point----HOW CAN THEY BE STOPPED!?

Don't know where they got my number from as I've never bought anything from Carphone Warehouse. Didn't bother to leave a message either. Never answer any calls from numbers I don't know - then look them up on here. Sounds dodgy to me.

This number is proper doing my nut! I never answer numbers like this coz you can never trust them, dodgy all of them! Also got a new phone from car phone warehouse but when I signed up I'm sure I ticked the box which said I wished NOT to be contacted by third parties!

just got a call on my mobile, missed it!  Only close friends/family have my number.  However, I rang the Carphone Warehouse yesterday to cancel my contract - coincidence?  I won't be answering it if they ring back.
