I have called the telephone number and asked to be removed from their mailing lists.I received a call from the 0845 number but called the number on their website 01273 765000. The receptionist admitted it was Carphone Warehouse who has given them my details. I asked to be removed and sent an e-mail too just in case the message isn't passed on.

I cant see how it can be Carphone warehouse as I have never had anything to do with them but I get loads of calls from this number

I had miss call from my mobile and need to know who called as it could be a call in expecting thanks

Getting calls from this number after getting my phone from Carphone Warehouse

Got a call today I answered they immediately hung up. The number they called me on is my work phone I never give it out online or anyone except family & work so I've no clue where they got my number from. I work as a Paramedic my phone needs to be on 24/7 these marketing calls are so annoying.

Had a missed call on my mobile today but have never had a phone from carphone warehouse.  Been with the same mobile provider for years and do not give out my number to anyone.  Do not know who it is but ignored and no message so cannot be important!

I spoke to a representative from this company called Rob who advised that they are involved in market research and customer satisfaction surveys for both Carphone Warehouse and Tesco. He was very polite and advised that my number would be removed from their records.

I spoke to them via the live chat on their wesbite but they can also be called on their switchboard number: 01273 765 000.

As far as market research/ telemarketers go, these seem to be one of the most ethical and socially responsible. And no, I don't work for the company, but have worked in telemarketing before so understand it from the other side.

Several calls received from this number, no messages left.  This is to my private number known only to my family...I have a relative seriously ill in hospital and a daughter on active service with the Forces in Afghanistan.  So I don't agree with Jon, above, that this is an "ethical and socially responsible" market research company !

Had a call from this number on our business line.
The caller said he was from British Airways and asked to speak to the person who deals with our international travel.
I LOL & told him we are a local business 7 are not even national let alone international.
laughing I told it it was the best joke phone call I'd ever had.

just got a call  forom the same number, i work in an electrical retailer that works alongside cpw and i asked the guys there if they knew about it and they said its just a quick survey thing they do,so no need to panic

Shocked at carphone warehouse selling on our details Just taken out a new contract through them. Not happy - hope I don't get anymore missed calls.

They are a market research company asking questions on behalf of Carphone Warehouse following a call I made to CW earlier this week.

They Ring......I answer......they hang up! Don't these idiots google their own number occasionally and realise what the public think of them.
