I got a call tonight -
"I'm calling with good news!  Your postcode has been chosen to have your windows and doors 'done', if you choose to go ahead and take this offer how many windows and doors would you have done?"
Obviously dodgy so I tell him I'm renting, he turns cold quickly and turns off charm off, end of call!!
I did 1471 and got this number...I hate to think of vulnerable people being ripped off and loosing trust.  Stupidly didn't ask questions but also didn't want to get talking!

They called and asked to speak to the property owner. I said the property owner was unavailable and they hung up. I am TPS registered.

when I answered call, there was just silence - so I hung up on them, who ever they are.

Called by this number five minutes ago again , this time I answered the call, as I do with many many other unrecognised numbers, by saying ''Good morning Strathclyde Police how may I help you? '' You never hear from them again.

After previous promise (read my other posts) I received a call at 17:58 today which was a silent call.

In 2 weeks time I travel from Glasgow to London so will be detouring to pop into their office for a personal visit !!!

call me today said it was weatherseal the woman was not nice speaking on the phone

This was a sales call from a company called Weatherseal. I would suggest that anyone who is TPS-registered and receives a call from this number makes a complaint to TPS via their website.

Call received today at 12pm.

Registered with TPS so stated that. Was immediatley passed to someone else who asked "Can I help you" I almost laughed - "You phoned me!" I had to say.

After the guy spluttered a bit I just got random noises so hung up.

Have complained to TPS.

These jokers call me about 3/4 times a week. starting in early October.
I did a 1471 on one occasion and got charged to listen to a voicemail telling me that weatherseal had tried to contact me.

I had exactly the same. I've been on the TPS register for around 10 years. The agent started arguing and talking over me and said that I have to reregister annually or you get taken off the register.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the supervisor said the TPS didn't start until 2000 so I can't have been registered for 10 years. When I said the time from 2000 to now IS 10 years she said "I'm not stupid" and hung up on me.

For the Commercial TPS, yes. Not for domestic.

This number has persisted in calling me for at least two months now. As I am TPS registered they should not be calling me in the first place. I have caller display and do not answer the phone tp peole I do not recognise. They ring and no message is left, often the phone only rings a couple of times and it stops. I have called there nimber THREE times now and inputted my phone number having been prompted to do so if I do not wish to recieve any more calls - each time they ignore this abd call within a few days. Do they really think this is the way to encourage peole to buy there product. I will NEVER pick up the phone to them so if they want to keep wasting their money calling me then its up to them. If they call again I will complain to TPS

Five to Six times this number has called me and then rings off and then later on and asks for homeowner and again rings off

3 rings then stopped before I got to the phone.   Been called MANY times.  I am TPS registered.  PITA.

I got my 2nd call today, and I'm also TPS registered and have been for over 5 years. It looks to me like they've just decided to completely ignore TPS registration, judging by the responses here.

I got a call today from them asking to speak to the home owner.  After I replied saying it was myself, I was then informed that my postcode was in a draw to get windows and doors fitted in free of charge.  This is the second call I've had from them.  I stated that I already was contacted and was then asked how old my windows where...to which I replied, We celebrated their biorthdays last week...they hung up.

They called at 8pm and asked to speak to the property owner. The girl would not give company name or any details and became rude when asked where they got ex directory number from. They hung up!

141'd the number and called back. A recorded voice said Weather Seal called today and would call again later. There was an option to be removed from their call list. Followed the instructions just have to see if it works. We also have TPS so they really are phone pests.

I received a call from a female who was obviously in a call centre given the background noise. She asked if I was the "property owner" but she did it so quickly that I asked her to repeat herself. She did, using exactly the same phrase and when I asked, "Who are you?", she hung up. 1471 revealed the caller number 08452 639001. I am ex-directory and TPS registered, so presumably they are just going through a list of consecutive numbers.

Woken up YET AGAIN by Weatherseal while sleeping after night shift. Phone rings enough to wake me then rings off. Used 0800041041 and told them to take me off their database. Told them I am registered with TPS and the guy said he'd put my number on "Do not disturb!!!!" We'll see what happens. In the background you can hear other poor B@@@@@ds being cold called by these creeps.
